We are witnessing the total collapse of a bad idea. Obamaism, a quasi-socialist commitment to a more powerful government at home and an abdication of American leadership around the world, is being exposed as a historic calamity. It is fueling domestic fear and global disorder and may well lead to a world war.
If there is a smidgen of a silver lining, it is that the unraveling, complete with Obamas shameless attempts to duck responsibility, is playing out on the eve of the midterm elections. Fortunately, voters seem ready to respond by giving Republicans control of both houses of Congress.
I second that emotion, and not just because Obama is a failure. For all his narcissism, he didnt make this mess alone.
He was aided and abetted by every Democrat in Congress.

It is his way. Hitler did this very successfully with the Jews in his country - and elsewhere.
How will the democrats ever forgive themselves for letting Obama down?
Nothing is ever Obama’s fault. Anything bad happening in the Era of Obama must be blamed on something other than the president’s actions or his policies. Bad unemployment numbers can be blamed on bad winter storms. Ongoing negative economic indicators will be blamed on fallout from actions of past presidents or financial market meltdowns. Problems with health insurance and skyrocketing premiums will be blamed on greedy insurers, not on regulations imposed by Obamacare.
Pick any issue, and you will find that the problem will not be blamed on Obama’s policies, but on someone else or some outside force.
Really? I haven't noticed.</sarc>
He's like a 3 year old, nothing is his fault.
I believe it would be more accurate to write that, "voters seem ready to respond by taking away control of the Senate from the democrats."
This voter has precious little confidence that the Republicans will do any better, though they will do differently.
Michael Goodwin must be a FR lurker - he stole all his points from comments made here over the past six years.
Then he would run to confess that he saw you or one of the other kids do it.
In those days they used to say "Anyone can grow up to be president."
But who knew it would be that kid?
Hopefully tomorrow they will pay for it.
A collapse of the Obama brand name perhaps, but not of the trend toward the all powerful all competent State. That will go on. There will not even be a pullback should the Republicans take the Senate and in two years the Presidency. That Trend was put firmly into place when the 17th Amendment was ratified.
“He thinks he is untouchable, so he isn’t really even trying too hard to defend himself.”

When he made such a point of saying make no mistake his policies ARE on the ballot this year I took it as saying, okay, I took a dump in your punch bowl, what do you think you can do about it now?
“Benjamin Franklin ‘He that is good for making excuses is seldom good for anything else.’”
Franklin nailed that one.
Just one political leader, just one, stand up and say “Do not follow Obama’s illegal orders.”
Note to Obola - My mom always used to say that when you point the finger of blame at some one, three fingers point back at you.
Just one political leader, just one, stand up and say Do not follow Obamas illegal orders.
It will be a little easier if republicans have both houses of congress Obama’s last two years. Now that doesn’t mean any of them are going to do it.
We need some conservative courts to step up too. We need as many roadblocks in Obama’s way as possible his last two years.
