Oh brother. This has got to be one of the worst gaffes this political season, and that’s saying something, even coming from a leftist. ncumbent Democrat Senator Mary Landrieu who was first elected to the U.S. Senate by in 1996 by Louisianians, 18 years ago, now claims that her crashing popularity in the state is not because of her job performance or her voting record, but because her constituents are sexist.
Furthermore, the senator from the Pelican State, who’s voted with Obama 97% of the time last year alone, according to Roll Call, now professes that the reason why fellow Democrat, President Barack Obama, has also plummeted in favorability is because the South is racist.
It’s not because he used the NSA to unconstitutionally spy on Americans without search warrants, including reporters exposing his scandalous regime. It’s not because he used political dirty tricks and a mountain of lies to ram the multi-thousand page behemoth, Obamacare, which to this day is hated by the majority of Americans.
It’s not because the national debt has exploded to $18 trillion from $10 trillion in only six years, with the assistance of Landrieu’s rubberstamp, or the fact that an all-time record 92,000,000 Americans are out of the work force.
It’s not because, with Landrieu’s implied blessing, Obama used the IRS to attack American citizens, simply because they believe in the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
Nope.
It’s because, according the Learjet Landrieu, the South has all of a sudden become sexist against the incumbent and Americans, who originally voted to elect the first half-black president twice, have now become racist.
Landrieu, apparently referring to the Democrat Party’s history of promoting slavery and Jim Crow laws, told NBC’s Chuck Todd, “I’ll be very, very honest with you. The South has not always been the friendliest place for African-Americans.”
Perhaps Landrieu, who once called a border fence “dumb,” should be asked to explain racial minorities South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, Senator Tim Scott, or the governor of her own state, Bobby Jindal.
Referring to the herself, the long-standing incumbent, Landrieu told Todd, “It’s not always a good place for women to present ourselves. It’s more of a conservative place.”
Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal didn’t take too kindly to Landrieu’s accusations, heading to Twitter to call her charge a “major insult.”
That is a major insult by Senator Landrieu to the people of Louisiana and I flatly reject it.
Obama’s policies, which Mary supports, are unpopular here, and the other 49 states, because they are ill advised, liberal, and don't work.
More projectionism from the 'rats. She makes Debbie Wannaman-Schitz look like a Rhodes scholar by comparison. Seems like Landrieu longs for the days of Bull Connor and attack dogs and fire hoses, as if her life is empty because she hasn't experienced any of that with her "homies" she pretends to care about. Besides, unlike 0, Gov Jindal know exactly how many states there are in the US.

The truth is that Democrat Sen. Mary Landrieu and President Obola wouldn’t have been elected in the first place if it wasn’t for racism.

One more thing if I remember correctly Mary held out her vote on obamacare didn’t she? I remember her walking in the halls of congress with the reporters on her tail asking her how she was going to vote.
She held out for a huge deal for her state didn’t she for her vote?

If Landrieu hadn’t been a rubber stamp for Obama and an apologist for all his corruption, she might not have that millstone around her neck right now.
