FULL TITLE: Two boys, 13 and 14, 'raped two sixth-grade girls for hours in the auditorium of their Bronx middle school'

A 13-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy have been arrested for raping two sixth-grade girls for nearly two hours in the auditorium of their middle school, police have said.

The two young girls, who are just 12 and 13, were lured into the area at the Urban Science Academy in the Bronx on October 16 and attacked for at least two class periods, officials said.

Although the students were missing from class for hours, no teacher or security officer went to look for them, the New York Daily News reported.

'These boys took advantage of the girls by luring them into the area, cornering them and imposing their wills on them,' said attorney Alan Ripka, who is going to file a lawsuit against the city.

Middle school, today’s Junior High

Consists of 6 7 8 and grades I believe.

High school is 9 through 12.

I believe that is how it works but I’m not sure.

That is not how it was when I was in Junior High which was grades 7 8 9

A lot of schools were consolidated. Why? Not enough kids? (abortion)

A 14 year old being in Middle School? Yes if he failed a grade or started Kindergarten late due to his birthday.

Yet people still send their kids to these cesspools.

It is deeper than that. These two boys have marinated in a broken culture their entire lives, and it has lead to this. Even if it hadn't happened in a school, it could as easily have happened somewhere else within the community. We have to fix our culture. Sadly enough, I see no signs on the horizon of that happening.

And 13 and 14 year old girls aren't able to get Concealed Weapons permits.

Kids skip class all the time. Teachers don’t get alarmed when kids don’t show up to class as so many skip so often it is of little concern.

You see what they did? They used the boys ages but the girls grade level! Sneaky. The casual reader will think they were with 6 year olds and not 11-12 year olds.

Indeed so. Not many details here. Just this....

“’These boys took advantage of the girls by luring them into the area, cornering them and imposing their wills on them,’ said attorney Alan Ripka, who is going to file a lawsuit against the city.”

Might be ‘rape rape’... But then again, it might be ‘statutory rape’

‘Luring’ means exactly what in this context?

‘Cornering them’ means?

‘Imposing their will on them’ means?

So they will also be charing the girls with ‘rape’ of the two underaged boys?

Absolutely unacceptable. Teacher and administrators should be hanged.

Yep.

This behavior is the product of the sub/anti-culture that is sustained by a political movement that seeks the destruction of

OUR

culture.

Hang the teachers? I take it you have not experienced life from the teachers' side of the desk? Let me tell you that, at the rate which students skip classes on a daily basis, four missing students for two periods would NOT be out of the ordinary AT ALL in a given school day at MOST SCHOOLS.

Now the administration has much more culpability due to the fact that it is THEY who make the school policies the teachers are to enforce. If the policy is poor or nonexistent, there's just about nothing teachers can do to enforce the attendance policy.

Gotta' love how society instantly blames TEACHERS for everything that goes wrong...

I’ve coached at the HS level for a few years. IMHO, a school should be run similar to a naval vessel where responsibilities are clearly and unmistakenly defined. This should apply to all persons working on campus.

The class roll tallies should have immediately indicated to administrators who was not in school, and it should quickly have been determined why. Specific hall monitors should have been responsible in reporting to their section leaders no later than every 20 minutes. If a report doesn’t come, it would be quickly determined why.

Tell me that this tragedy could have happened in such an environment.

However, this type of structured accountability is not likely to be instituted at large within US schools because, I believe, it would make too much sense. And even in good times, if something makes sense at a societal level, don’t necessarily look for it lest you go crazy.

____________

Actually if they all are around the same age, yes, that is what happens in some states.

We may simply have to agree to disagree. No one can move through this broken culture unscathed. WW2 is a case in point. Something had to be fixed. A lot of people who had no part in breaking things still participated in and lost their lives in the fixing. No one is going to escape the crap that is coming.

Mind you this school has security guards and most likely cameras and they did not catch this.

Or maybe the kids are having sex all the time in 'discreet' locations in the school, so this just didn't draw their attention.

I went to a public school, and they were having sex all day, every day, even in the lunchroom.

No... wait a minute.... I just remembered. I never saw anyone, anywhere, at school, having sex.
