BILL CLINTON: Republicans Are Trying To 'Cash In On The Misery Of The American People'

Former President Bill Clinton claimed on Thursday that one of the main reasons Republicans are expected to perform so strongly in the upcoming midterm elections is their willingness to capitalize on the lingering effects of the 2008 economic recession.

"Here's the important thing. As a nation we're back to ground zero, we're back to where we were. We got all of our jobs back," Clinton declared at an endorsement event for New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D).

However, after ticking off quarterly growth statistics, Clinton said, "People don't feel it yet."

Clinton said the Republican Party realizes this is "their last time" to press a message of economic gloom and doom.

"We are now in the position to define how we're going forward. And the reason all these elections all over the [country] are being so hotly contested is that our friends in the other party think that this their last time to cash in on the misery of the American people," he argued.

The Democrats are in deep trouble if the best that they can do a week before the elections is to wheel out an elderly serial rapist as the figurehead of their party.

I think the moron meant square one, not ground zero.

But that's just great. It only took 6 years and 20 trillion dollars to get back to square one.

Now that I think about it, maybe ground zero is more appropriate after all.

Gosh l am sorry I must have missed all the money that went to republican donors from the stimulus. I just can’t believe my lying eyes about all the green tech companies that received all that money after donating to dems.

Well he did position himself as a moderate in 1992. It worked for him.

Today’s Democrats are light years from the centrist Democrats who then defined the mainstream of the party.

Its radical left, today hostile to everything that defined America. That’s the party Clinton is defending today.

Neither Horndog Bill nor Hillary Flying Buttress are in good health, check it out.

Clinton may soon be fishing in his swimming pool like Al Capone, if you get my drift.

Hillary clearly lacks the stamina for a preezy campaign.

Ronaldus Magnus at the same stage in life & later could run rings around that evil duo.

we did not get all our jobs back

The illegal immigrants (nearly all job growth was immigrants) are the ones who got our jobs and most of those are now part-time too

LOL...Mr. “It’s the Economy, Stupid” himself accuses the opposition of capitalizing on a crappy economy! He mastered it even though the economy was ROARING when he lied incessantly about it.

So Clinton admits Obama and the Democrats have brought America to misery?

That's the way I read it.

So Bill, why are the American people in misery? Could it be the Democrats, namely Obama and Hillary?

Remember the good old days when ex-presidents just rode off to write their memoirs? Can you imagine how much Hussein will be in our faces the next 25 years?
