The federal government should stick to funding the necessary and constitutional duties of the federal government. Let the states fund the necessary and constitutional duties of the state and so forth down to the local towns.

Let the private sector fund everything else.

Thank you for referencing that article mdittmar. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

It’s suspicious that this article is being put out less than a week before elections.

Note that the states have never amended the Constitution to give the feds the specific power to tax and spend for the purposes indicated by the referenced article. In fact, the states would probably be able to afford to pay for such programs with state revenues if state lawmakers would quit sitting on their hands and put a stop to constitutionally indefensible, vote-winning federal taxes.

So that’s 100 hours a week for 2 million?

If vote-winning, PC announcements for receiving constitutionally indefensible federal funding are timed to be put out less than a week before election day, then the traditional tax day, April 15, needs to be permanently moved to the Mondays before election Tuesdays even in non-election years.

Another 2 million of wasted money, another 2 million of money taxpayers had to pay, another two million added to the federal debt, and another interest payment on 2 million going straight into the coffers of the private “federal” reserve.

I wish they’d give us an example of this type of teaching. But I THINK I can understand why it’s valuable. Do any of you remember learning the alphabet in first grade by singing the letters? It worked.
