Feds Retaliate against the Bundy Ranch and the Southern Nevada People On Friday October 10th, 2014 a Notice from the federal registry reveals that the federal government is mounting retaliations against the Bundy family and the Southern Nevada people.

Federal Register / Vol. 79, No.197 Notice, outlines plans to make the Bundy ranch and most of the rest of Southern Nevada, Areas of Critical Environmental Concern (ACECs). 90 days from October 10th, 2014 these proposals will become federal law without consent from the Nevada State legislatures or the people of Southern Nevada.

Areas of Critical Environmental Concern (ACECs) are human restricted management areas. ACECs have been a tool used by the federal government to gain further control of large masses of western lands and the resources.

As proposed, nearly 3 million acres in Southern Nevada will be locked away from the people. This includes most uses on the land (recreational, agricultural or otherwise).

Listed below are just a few of the outlined restriction that come with ACECs:

[snip] IF YOU ENJOY USING ANY OF THESE AREAS IT IS ABOUT TO CHANGE

The ‘land creep’ of AGENDA 21.. Soon everything will be off limits, except for FEMA camps crammed full of humans.

The federal government owns a huge amount of the western states. When the Midwest was settled, land was given away to the PEOPLE. But something changed when the west was settled, and Big Fed thought they could do a better job managing the land.

This land grab appears to benefit Harry Reid, members of his family, and certain foreign elements critical to Harry Reid’s ascension to power, and his wealth.

This action by the Obama Administration is very possibly a payoff for loyalty to an obviously outgoing Senate Majority leader. The Democrats know they aren’t keeping control of the Senate, thus this action at this time to favor Harry Reid, and the behind the scenes benefactors of the Democrat party who have aided, and abetted their assaults on American values.

And then they plan to go in and kill the entire Bundy family, as they intended to do a few months ago.

The federal government, esp DOI, BLM and the EPA don’t give a DAMN about “the people” who work and care for the land.

I can’t think of a Democratic Secy of the Interior who was sane (Salazar, for one); EPA - comrades Carol Browner and her butgirl Lisa Jackson, and maybe even Gina McCarthy?; BLM?

Come on. The govt no longer serves the people and looks out for their best interests. Environmental extremists make the rules and their toadies in other agencies carry them out, like good little Germans.

Only a massive cutting of their funds by Congress will get any message through to them to stop their illegal rule by regulation and Executive Orders.

Looks like the new American revolution is going to start on the plains of our country. Might be entitled “Cowboys versus authoritarians”, starring Daniel Craig and a cast of millions.

Kinda hard to enforce an “off limits” decree on 3 million acres, isn’t it?

I think China has enough unemployed young men with guns who would jump at the chance to come to Nevada and guard the 'territory'.

Maybe my reading and comprehension skills need a brush-up (RE: A1S8 and A4S3). Either a State encompasses all within its boundaries (aside from that specifically designated as per above. EG: Forts, roads, etc.), or the same has been usurped by Fedzilla.

Course, that was back at a time when we HAD a Constitutional Republic....

You think I don’t know that? I own a section over there, and this same crap will move up north to it soon enough under some lame 3 legged stump humper protection pretext.

The #4 alternative is to keep it the same as it is now essentially, and a BUNCH of people writing in commentary on it would hopefully produce enough of a mail pile that it might get some news/outside-the-agency scrutiny. You can bet your ass all the drippy city bound NGO (WWF, Sierra club, et.al.) types will churn some paper to this. One of the reasons they hold so much sway is they have organized to send in commentary on stuff like this and regular folk don’t and the government idiots think “wow, the masses think just like us”!

My biggest gripe about the register publication is the agency outlining “its preferences”. I couldn’t care less what some agency prefers, it’s not in their freakin’ job description! They should lay out the facts and then the public (preferably local/state) preferences should get done!

This is just so interesting. I’ve heard that there are some really interesting land formations out in southern Nevada. It might be something I would like to go out out and see for myself. Has anyone else heard this very same thing?

it doesn’t much matter.

The Nevada legislator should as soon as possible pass a resolution expressing the peoples outrage at the massively unfair and unjust federal land grab. Nevada’s Governor aut to be raising his voice on the matter too to get attention for the people and state of Nevada on this abuse Federal Land Grab.

The big issue is This isent just an relation against Bundy this a massive attack upon the land and resource of the people of Southern Nevada.

This is Washington punishing an entire community for the disputed actions of one man. That is a grossly unfair and unjust overreaction. Nevada’s leaders need to raise their voices in loud protest over this grossly unfair land grab. Nevada has to make this a national issue to get the pressure on BLM to pull out of nevada and leave Nevadas natural resources to the people.

Right now BLM is out of vindictiveness making that case for Nevada. They are grossly overreacting by punish an entire community for the act of just one man. or if this really is about some sort of obscure animal or plant they are placing that plant or animals supposed livelihood over that of the people of Nevada.

Eyther way this is something Nevada’s leaders should be going on the news about to try and bring attention to the issue in hopes of saving Nevada’s peoples access to her natural resources.

I agree with everything you have said. I am confused with the designation of Critical Environmental Concern for this land and with a possible use by Harry Reid’s friends from China; how would that work?

Rest assured we citizens will not be able to access these lands for any use. Sen Jon Tester in Montana has been a senator since 2007 and he just two days ago sent out another letter saying he was trying his best to help the citizens of Montana gain access for all the federal lands in our state; this after several hunters have expressed outrage over lack of access. I guess he thinks that showing up is trying his best.

Once the lands are designated as such, you will not have access to them and if you are caught trespassing you will be prosecuted. So much for the fact that we are paying the salaries of these a**holes who will be keeping us out.

I’m not sure what the answer is, but this needs to stop.
