I gave my daughter a Dakota 4X4 pickup a couple of decades ago. Teenager she was with her friends, she hit the back of some lady stopped at a stop sign (pretty hard hit). $4K+in damage, no airbags. The cop who gave her the ticket was very concerned because he owned the same kind of truck.
My Honda is on the list, but I haven’t received a recall notice yet.

Never heard of a Chrysler Aspen. Ever.
Thanks for posting.

My 2007 Honda Accord is also on the list, no recall notice as of today. Wonder if they will sent one out?
It was the luxury version of the Dodge Durango SUV.
Same for me. Five million! That’s a lot of Hondas.
I notice that the model years go all the way back to 2000. Those are 14 year old vehicles. At what point does a manufacturer’s responsibility end? Is the machine warranted to perform perfectly FOREVER? I am not saying this flippantly. Lawyers without engineering experience forcing manufacturer’s to live up to an unobtainable level of perfection will drive people out of business.
I received a notice from Toyota a full month ago and got it taken care of then.
The Chrysler Aspen is a fancied up Dodge Durango.
Thank you for posting this list.
I own three vehicles. Not one of them is recalled. Can’t believe it. I have three different makes: a Dodge, a Buick and a Toyota, even though they are all having recalls either the year or model doesn’t match. How lucky is that?
We heard about the recall last week, stopped by the dealer on Thursday, part for Driver's side arrived and was installed on Monday. They still have no word on how to handle the passenger side airbag.
I think the plan may be to replace the ones in humid climates first. Corrosion seems to be part of the problem. If I lived in Wyoming, I might not worry about it that much.
Mine is, too. I haven’t received any notice, either.
Both my daughter’s cars made the list. One said she’s already been notified.
Drive a Volkswagen!
