My wife is a professor of nursing and teaches community health. She said the Board of Nursing should immediately pull Hickox license regardless whether or not she is infected. Her boyfriend is a dolt as Ebola can also be sexually transferred. It would serve them right if they both contred Ebola, but the number of people they could have infected would make Typhoid Mary look like an amateur.

This woman wrote an article in which she said she was in a somewhat risky category - and she did not mention what precautions she took in Africa. She said she gave meds to a seizing, dying girls. Was she completely covered? Why is the media ignoring her own screed? Maybe she lied and had no contact? She can’t have it both ways. As it is, she is like the muslims who behave oddly on planes then sue. She will make it harder to stop the virus.
One law for everybody. Jail for her and her attorneys.
I think this woman is an arrogant fool. OTOH, if she is outside and with her boyfriend on a bike ride, I see no reason why this is a problem. Quarantine is meant to keep people with infection or possible infections away from other vulnerable people, i.e. the general public.
Is she keeping a distance from those she sees on her bike ride? An inquiring mind wants to know.
In the early 1950s my nephew who was living with us at the time contracted polio. My brother and I were placed under quarantine. We did not call a lawyer.
she is a disgrace to her profession- She has NO medical proof that people WITH ebola who aren’t showing symptoms yet can’t still infect others- but she is playing Russian roulette with OTHER people’s lives- She is a disgrace to this nation- and her SELFISH attitudes are very typical of liberal ideology running amok today! From here on out- every healthcare person travelling to infected countries should be mandated to sign a statement indicating that they fully agree to quarantine when they return- Hagel is demanding our military be quarantined, why is this disgraceful ‘nurse’
If this bitch ends up with Ebola- will she be charged with attempted murder for everyone she comes into contact, hopefully she will be one of the lucky ones and escape infection.
However she is doing great disservice to our society by defying this quarantine. She will encourage others to also defy, next one may actually be Ebola infected, then we all will be at risk.

In the past when people defied quarantines- they were dealt with harshly by the local citizens..

Vying for votes and power- never let a good crisis go to waste- even if you need to manufacture one.
