Despite a ton of free elite media attention, the new Wendy Davis memoir, "Forgetting to Be Afraid," is flopping just as hard as the Democrat abortion extremist's bid to be the next governor of Texas.
According to Slate, since its release more than 6 weeks ago, "Forgetting to Be Afraid" has sold fewer than 6,000 copies.
For comparison, Slate points out that Elizabeth Warren's memoir sold 70,000 copies over a comparable time period, and David Limbaugh's "Jesus On Trail," which published the same day as the Davis memoir, has sold 65,000 copies:

Wendy who?
Probably because everyone is looking in the fiction section.
Or, maybe, he was reaching out to the L. L. Bean set.
Time to abort her campaign.
If she had titled it “Forgetting I’m a Gold Digger” it might have been more successful as non-fiction...
Better yet, “I Can’t Get This Ugly Obama Off My Face.”
Wow, when I tried being a conservative publisher a few years ago, I was disappointed with the sales of our first releases, but one of them “The Misplaced Spy” managed to sell over 1,000 copies with no distributor and little publicity. 6,000 with that kind exposure is pathetic.
Why on earth would any sane person buy a known liar’s autobiography?
Rihanna sings the new press and Democrat voter anthem
Just gonna stand there and watch me burn
But thats all right because I like the way it hurts
Just gonna stand there and hear me cry
But thats all right because I love the way you lie
I love the way you lie
Ohhh, I love the way you lie
Ha! She is reputed to be a loose cannon, too-when she was a practicing attorney, she supposedly went off in public on a couple of occasions, totally uncalled for. If that is true, she has control/emotional issues-that would have made more interesting reading...
A great place to get a good hamburger.
;)
I have indoor plumbing so there’s no need for her book.
They’re not buying Andy Cuomo’s book either
Maybe they should offer a free copy with each abortion in November.
Print Run was 200K copies. . .
I read this somewhere, don’t know if it’s true or not.
“ABOUT the Political career of Windy Davis.
Fort Worth City Council:
Davis first ran for the Fort Worth City Council in 1996, but was defeated by ninety votes After her defeat, Davis sued the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, American Broadcasting Company, and the Disney Company, which at the time owned the Star-Telegram and ABC.The Texas Tribune stated that she alleged “that biased coverage led to her defeat and caused injury to her physical and mental health”.Her claims were rejected by the Texas courts, based upon the Star-Telegram’s First Amendment free speech grounds.”
Discouraging hidden nugget:
The Fake White Indian is outselling a book about Jesus written by a Limbaugh.
did she get an advance?
