I was thinking dementia too. A person doesn't just wander off for 5 days and be found a 100 miles away after a few beers.

Pains have been taken by the media to say that Mr. Kitterman has no medical issues, but I'm wondering whether he has dementia and his family either just won't admit it or aren't aware of it. It's also possible he suffered a small stroke which caused him confusion. Whatever — I hope his family gets him to a doctor for a thorough examination and testing.

There is a very logical explanation:

ALIEN ABUDUCTION!

After the standard probing and examination, he was returned to earth. Check him for an alien implant device.

I’ve let myself become jaded by the utter stupidity of people in this day and age.
Not hard to do. The idiots have always been with us, we just have so many more ways (security cameras, 1000 cable channels, social media, etc.) to see the results.

Does the man live in Pueblo?

Maybe he just decided to leave the game early and go home.

A friend of mine had a stroke at home. They found him out wondering around in the neighborhood. His wife had been at work at the time. He did not know where he was or where he lived. Just saying.

I understand what you’re saying and I don’t entirely disagree. I’ve been married to the same woman for 45 years and we’ve got 3 sons. Hopefully, I would never be under such emotional duress to do something like that. Stress, and emotional duress, can cause people to do things they would not ordinarily do because they are not thinking straight.

Unless he's got some form of dementia, what rational excuse could he have for traveling over 100 miles in the middle of a game with his son.

Did you catch the part where it was a Broncos - Chargers game?

Last year my uncle stepped out to have a cigarette. Hours went by and he called his granddaughter in a panic. He was miles away and couldn’t recall how he got there. Family came and got him. Turned out to be diabetes.

“.. give them a bill for the manpower to try to find this shmuck.””

yes - such foolishness should not go without remuneration.

It was humor. Never cared for either team.

I’m hearing now that he left because “he had his fill of football”.

He may have to have his head candled.
