The climate change movement has gained such unstoppable momentum in the past decade that it comes as a surprise when anyone prominent has the guts to stand up against it. It is even more surprising when that someone is the co-founder of the Weather Channel.
John Coleman, though, has decided that the theory of man-made global warming is no longer scientifically viable. Having closely studied the topic of climate change for years, Coleman insists that the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has it all wrong. “There is no significant man-made global warming at this time, there has been none in the past, and there is no reason to fear any in the future.”
Coleman’s breadth of contrary evidence comes largely from the NIPCC, a collection of scientists unaffiliated with world governments, who aim to offer a “second opinion of the evidence” in contradiction to the findings of the IPCC. Though Coleman acknowledges that some evidence points to rising global temperatures, he contends that it can be easily explained by natural phenomena rather than carbon dioxide and man-made pollutants.
Coleman’s credentials do not include a degree in meteorology, but he has been invested in the TV weather business for more than 60 years. This is certainly not the first time he’s spoken out against what he calls “the greatest scam in history.” He penned a long, detailed column in 2009 called The Amazing Story Behind the Global Warming Scam. In it, he detailed the history of climate change science, claiming that a quest for funding led unscrupulous scientists, government bureaucrats, and environmental activists to perpetuate an unproven hoax for more than half a century.

As for MAN-made global warming, which man caused end of last ice age? There were several miles high glaciers sitting on top of mid-west. Ensuing global warming melted all that ice and formed the largest body of fresh water on earth...the Great Lakes.
Climate has been changing for Billions of years, long before homo-sapiens arrived on the earth.

It's idiocy like that which allowed the left to get away with the global warming hoax by painting Conservatives as the anti-science luddites
We had a weatherman locally, long since retired, who didn’t believe in global warming either (in his day it was called “the greenhouse effect.”) Maybe the older generations don’t believe this hoax because, unlike their younger counterparts, they rely on real science and are not caught up in fads and politics.
Write an editorial for your local newspaper on Earth Day refuting GW and watch the local loons heads explode.

The Earth has been getting warmer or colder for 4 billion years. The only constant in Earths environment is change. It will continue to change till it’s consumed by the Sun.
Man has been on earth .00075% of Earth’s age or 300,000 years.
Earth will continue to change after man is long gone.
The universe is dynamic. Suns supernova, galaxies collide, planets are formed and lost in black holes daily.
Man is merely a brief observer, not the cause.
Just like 0bola’s references to “Science” regarding his importation of virulent diseases into the US, the real situation regarding CAGW is that it is driven by POLITICAL SCIENCE.
Someone ought to tell this to the ‘kids’ who are playing ‘weatherman’ each morning, and who regurgitate their idiocy on the weather news... while trying ever so hard to be cutsie, chatty and entertaining AS IF it's about THEM and not the weather!
