Non-citizen votes could have given Senate Democrats the pivotal 60th vote needed to overcome filibusters in order to pass health-care reform and other Obama administration priorities in the 111th Congress. Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) won election in 2008 with a victory margin of 312 votes. Votes cast by just 0.65 percent of Minnesota non-citizens could account for this margin. It is also possible that non-citizen votes were responsible for Obama’s 2008 victory in North Carolina. Obama won the state by 14,177 votes, so a turnout by 5.1 percent of North Carolina’s adult non-citizens would have provided this victory margin.
That's…a really big deal. Democrats needed every last Senate seat they won in 2008 in order to overcome a GOP filibuster on Obamacare. Without Franken's seat (or Mark Begich's ill-gotten seat), the bill would never have passed -- as written, or at all. Previous studies presented serious evidence that Franken's margin in Minnesota was furnished by felons illegally voting; this new data suggests that ineligible non-citizens could have put him over the top. Pick your poison. Both bodies of evidence, by the way, showed that non-citizens and convicted felons overwhelmingly support Democrats.

Same . Voted yesterday in Hermitage. The library voting place here is where I noticed the NC tag on a large van full of blacks in 2008. It really stuck out then. I did not see them last year here, but; we voted early then. It would not draw that much attention now with the inner city moving and Obama having race on the census to force more section 8 into mostly white areas. Tennessee is where many illegals and muslims got license plates prior to 9/11. In fact Memphis was investigated.

Holder will make sure all citizen voter only laws passed are not enforced as well as photo ID required. Obama and pals hate our democracy.
Yet, an illegal alien would not have had to show anything to get that same license you had to show identification for.
I kid you not. I watched an illegal alien get a Colorado driver’s license without any proof of identity. He also registered to vote. The joke was on him and the DMV personnel as I was friends with their boss and reported the event. Seems it happens all the time.
Neither would that work, nor is it a tolerable measure.
I showed my Voter ID for the first time in this years Mississippi Republican Primary. I had gathered several thousand signitures to get Voter ID on the ballot where it was approved and then held up by the DOJ but we finally got it and ironically the first time it was used the primary was stolen by fellow republicans, the barbours, cochran campaign and the Mississippi GOP with the help of the NRSC.
I was born and raised in Hudson County NJ , solidly Democrat, where the saying went; “Vote early and often’’.
Illegally registered illegal voters made the difference in the Colorado Senate race six years ago to elect udall and will have to be overcome this year to get him out of office.

Whats to stop anyone from downloading an absentee ballot request for Mom, Dad, Granny, Grandad, other...filling it out themselves, and then simply hand it to the local election rep...once the ballot is received, it's filled out(for the actual person)and hand delivered to the clerk by any "authorized" person?
Here in MI......only you, a family member or person residing in your household, a mail carrier, or election official is authorized to deliver your signed absent voter ballot to your clerk's office.
What are the odds an election official is going to inquire if the actual person did the voting...especially in urban areas where ANY inquiry would be met with charges of disenfranchisement/racism?
Nursing homes/other senior centers I hear are very popular destinations for 'rats this time of year.
