The Obama administration pushed back on Sunday, following the latest all-hands Ebola meeting in the White House.

‘We have let the governors of New York, New Jersey, and others states know that we have concerns with the unintended consequences of policies not grounded in science may have on efforts to combat Ebola at its source in West Africa,’ a senior administration official said in a statement after that gathering.

‘We have also let these states know that we are working on new guidelines for returning healthcare workers that will protect the American people against imported cases, while, at the same time, enabling us to continue to tackle this epidemic in West Africa.’

According to news reports, it's not heated.

"The charity Doctors Without Borders yesterday voiced concern and annoyance over the treatment of its nurse, noting the quarantined volunteer was at University Hospital stuck in paper scrubs in an unheated tent."

It does look like it's in a concrete structure -- maybe a basement or a parking garage. My basement isn't heated and most parking garages I've seen have open windows to let the exhaust fumes escape. Is your parking garage or basement heated?

Our gov't hides veterans on waiting lists until they die, so I wouldn't assume that a tent provided by the gov't would be heated even by January. The odds are greater that it would be air conditioned.

Alternatively, they could send her to Gitmo. She'd be warm and treated much better there than in Newark. At least, we seem able to treat dangerous terrorists more nicely than that.

Samaritan's Purse has been managing to handle Ebola quarantines of its workers without all these dramatics. Maybe Christie's calls are supposed to gain him traction with the low information voters for 2016. I hope they don't.

Nurse has no room for complaint....she's lucky we didn't stop her in Africa where this would have been her accommodations and treatment. She should know better then to complain....I have great disdain for the Nurse...what a selfish entitlement mindset!
