In a new ad from Kentucky Senate candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes, a handful of women from the Bluegrass state stare straight into the camera and blast Republican incumbent Mitch McConnell for his shameful 30-year record on women.
Shame on you Mitch McConnell, an African-American woman says, arms crossed.
Youve turned your back on our mothers, our daughters, and me, another woman continues.
More women lambaste the Senate minority leader for voting against the Paycheck Fairness Act and declining to vote for an expanded Violence Against Women Act in 2012: Instead of enforcing equal pay for equal work, you called it preferential treatment // Youve stood against stronger laws on domestic violence.
With a recent Bluegrass poll released on October 20 finding the candidates in a dead heat without a gender gap in either direction, both candidates are fighting aggressively over the women vote with the little time left until the midterm election on November 4.
In an ad last week, the McConnell campaign also showed women speaking into the camera, accusing Grimes of thinking shes got the vote just because she isnt a man. She thinks Ill vote for the candidate that looks like me, rather than the one who represents me, one woman said.
But based on his track record, McConnell positioning himself as a champion of women is a tough sell.
How dare you claim to be pro-women, a woman in the Grimes ad says. Real Kentucky women know better, another woman concludes.
Grimes on Sunday was endorsed by two of the biggest news outlets in Kentucky, The Courier-Journal and Kentucky.com. Both commended her support of women, particularly in closing the wage gap.

Your knee-jerk vote for McConnell will simply mean the Dems have "bipartisan" cover for all the communism they continue to impose. I just don't see the point.
(See how this works?)
Your protest vote will only help the Democrats. I just dont see the point.

I tell you the same thing I told another RINO lover:
He who does not like Revenge has never tasted it.
“(See how this works?)”
Nope. I don’t see how it works. Even McConnell is BETTER than Grimes. There’s just no logical way to dispute that.
“He who does not like Revenge has never tasted it.”
It’s not revenge. It’s self-inflicting a wound. McConnell, even with all of his problems is BETTER than Grimes. There’s simply no disputing that. A vote for anyone other than McConnell is a vote for Grimes (and Obama).
So in other words, you have nothing substantive to say - yeah let’s eliminate 99% of what I said, then just make an absurd remark which makes no sense - pretty much validates my point.
Nope...that which is not passed into law to begin with cannot be imposed. Unless you are arguing that if McConnell had been the majority leader in 2009 instead of Reid, Obamacare and everything else would have been passed into law just the same...which would be an absurd argument, but no more absurd than anything else, I don't guess.
just make an absurd remark which makes no sense

Wow! You could not make sense of that statement? I assume you are a product of the Kentucky Public School System. Hmmmmm..... Public Education in Kentucky must really suck if they turn out graduates who cannot understand a simple sentence.
That IS the point. They want the liberals to win. They want liberal policies enacted - as many as possible. That IS the point. Then after they are enacted, they will scream the "GOPe" isn't doing enough to repeal that which would have never been passed to begin with as a justification to get even MORE liberals elected over Republicans so the cycle can repeat itself.
McConnell, even with all of his problems is BETTER than Grimes. Theres simply no disputing that.

Oh really? I’m thinking that there are hundreds of thousands of “true” Conservatives who would gladly dispute that. And I think they will dispute it loud and clear on Election Day. Don’t be surprised if Mitch gets a big surprise on Election Night.
Once again, just removing virtually everything I said and then making remarks which have no substance or validity - either you are being dishonest, or you are incapable of carrying on a simple conversation and just like antagonizing people for the sake of doing so. In either case, grow up.

That IS the point. They want the liberals to win. They want liberal policies enacted - as many as possible.

If you wouldn’t make statements like that, people wouldn’t know just how shallow, and ignorant, you really are.
No one on this website antagonizes people better than you.
Shame on you Mitch McConnell, says me.
There's not a DAMN dime's worth of difference between the Ruling Class of the GOP who declared war on Conservatives as extremists and Democrat MarxoFascists who declare us domestic terrorists - so your point is moot.
Better the enemy we see and know than the traitor who slays us in our sleep while we rest in their camp.
Most of the local Conservatives and some Libertarians I know are already affirmed to either leave the Senate race blank, write in a Conservative or vote Patterson.
McConnell is roundly loathed out here in these rural areas. Grimes has the advantage, especially since most Farmers here are Yellow Dog or Reagan Democrats.
I think that the pollsters are not figuring in the thousands of Conservatives
The incessant phone polls I have received are rigged to give a predetermined answer without allowing for a real and true assessment. Most of them are by McConnell's PAC and machine and they are just as loathsome as the ones from the local DNC.
They do not allow you to answer beyond yes or no or range responses to questions that gives them the answer they want anyway. Most of the "polls" by phone that I received were simply interactive campaign commercials.
Lets see if Mitch can win without those Tea Partiers and Conservatives that he hates and has vowed to crush
He can do so without my vote, that is for certain. He loathes us as much if not more so than the Democrats do.
After all, he said we needed a "punch in the nose".
I'm not giving my vote to a traitorous bully who has surrendered in advance to Obama and Reid.
Which is why there is no difference if Grimes takes the seat.
And that is what Conservatives were told to think for the last 26 years by the Party Loyalists, Conservatism be damned - and it has gotten us to where we are right now.
I'm done voting for the lesser of two evils.
She may be an Obama stooge, a MarxoFascist extraordinaire - but .
Grimes has not vowed to crush us wherever we are found. McConnell has.
Grimes has not threatened to punch Conservatives in the nose. McConnell has
Grimes did not work to sabotage a Conservative in MS by wrangling black democrats and engaging in racism to enable a walking corpse to win. McConnell did.
Grimes did not assert that Conservatives will not be able to field a candidate on the ballot in any state anywhere in the country. McConnell did.
Grimes did not use IRS intimidation tactics and wage a public war against a Conservative PAC. McConnell did and continues to do so.
Grimes has not stated that she would revert Senate rules in order to surrender power to the opposition should she win a majority. McConnell has.
We know what Grimes is. We know who she is.
McConnell pretends to be an opposition leader, yet behind the scenes or via stealth, empowers and enables the enemy's agenda. i.e.; McConnell promised to get rid of Obamacare root and branch, but just last week said he was just fine with Kynect, the states Obamacare insurance exchange.
He thinks we're idiots - KYnect would not exist if ObamaCare is repealed 'root and branch', because it was CREATED FOR ObamaCare.
To state that McConnell is better than Grimes, and that we should be shamed into voting FOR him after everything he pulled is beyond idiotic. It's insulting.
No honest Conservative votes for a liberal ruling class big-government statist simply because of the letter after their name.
Only party hacks pretending to be Conservatives do that. They are the ones who go around projecting that those who refuse to vote for the Ruling Class liberal Statist with an 'R' after their name - want liberal leftists in power.
That scare tactic and shaming technique no longer works on Conservatives who are governed by principles and not by party loyalty.
