Spoiler alert: rogues could determine fate of US Senate

Independent or third-party politicians often roil American elections, and the current battle for Senate control could be determined by any of several unconventional candidates, including a pizza-delivering Libertarian in North Carolina.

GREG ORMAN: This independent received a dramatic boost in the Kansas Senate race when the Democrat suddenly dropped out...

SEAN HAUGH: A folksy, mild-mannered Libertarian who delivers pizza around Durham could hold the key to North Carolina on November 4.

He is polling at six percent in a race where Democratic Senator Kay Hagan leads Republican Thom Tillis by half that margin.

If the republican is a liberal, it's not "cutting off their nose to spite their face". It's not voting for a liberal.

Obama doesn't need a majority Dem senate.

McConnell has already said he'll enact the liberal agenda, and Cornyn agrees.

That's the Senate leadership the Republicans offer.

No.. I won't vote for a liberal. That includes Cornyn.

Do you think conservatives should help the Democrats win elections and destroy the country? THAT is the result when conservatives don’t get out and vote for the Republican candidate in the general election.

Since we are Conservatives first, and republicans second, and since both the DNC and GOP have both moved to the left, and especially the GOP by walking away from their pro-family agenda, and dropping the social issues and aggressively pursing Amnesty over the wishes and principles of the majority of their voters, the whole idea of the GOP being the Good Guys has diminished greatly ALMOST to the point of being a difference without distinction.

So, given that the GOP-E is actively fighting against the Tea-Party, A.K.A. conservatives, both privately and publically, and in many cases aligning themselves with Democrats in the process, and given that the GOP-E has decided that our principles are not their principles, please state in clear and unambiguous terms what is the value proposition for Conservatives to continue to be loyal to a group of traitors that have sworn themselves to our political defeat and demise?

Nobody is “entitled” to anyone’s vote.

Since you agree that there is no entitlement to a conservative vote, you must admit that vote has to be earned.

You don't earn conservative votes by enacting the liberal agenda.

Liberal republicans won't get elected often anymore.

Your Post #31 is so convulted. You really need to stay off of the computer when you’re drinking.

What difference does it make if you get bitten by a copperhead or a rattle snake; you’re still dead. What difference does it make if you get a Liberal DemocRAT or a Liberal PUbbie; you still end up holding the shi**y end of the stick.

you missed my point, the voters are the problem, they wanted that obama (unclean spirit creature) in the white house and lapdog mccain fell on his sword like a good drone, same thing with bush senior and junior and now they’ll want another clinton and another bush because they are told to want them,

The vast majority of Americans are manipulated by the MSM and dumbed down to actually think there is some difference between the parties,

If you vote for a liberal, or encourage others to vote for a liberal, you ARE a liberal.

You think Republicans won’t destroy the country with their support of Amnesty?

I blame Bush more than Perot for Clinton.

Bingo! GHWB said he was the third term of Reagan but he was more like the 4th term of Roosevelt.

Yep, Plan Perot, it worked like a charm. Split the vote and get the dem in!

Of course on the other hand, if it hadn't been for Ralph Nader, we would have been saddled with POTUS Gore, and VPOTUS Edwards. That should give you chills.

Unless of course the (R) is really a (D). IF we actually win the Senate would you care to give odds on how long it will be before Jumpin Jim disease breaks out in the GOPe?

“how long it will be before Jumpin Jim disease breaks out in the GOPe?”

That’s why we need a sufficient margin of victory.

The Libertarian candidate looks more conservative than Cornyn this time. (At least she sounds so).

The Libertarian Party supports abortion.

That's a no-vote from me.

I don't vote for liberals. Only liberals are ok with killing babies.

I will vote for a conservative candidate, or no candidate at all.

No baby killers need apply. Or amnesty types, or gun-control types.
