I’m convinced that the Left plans to incrementally strip away the rights of conservatives to the point where there will be an inevitable violent reaction. Then they will say, “See, didn’t we warn you all along about those dangerous, right-wing gun nuts?”

Who cares what they say? The 2nd Amendment is a reiteration of our God given right to defend ourselves, mostly from a corrupt and murdering government.

While they spout off about how right they were just take them out. All of them. We have to fight for freedom and liberty and they have gone too far. You should not care what they and their ilk say, just get rid of them and return our Country to the Constitution. We have gone too far over the edge to get back any other way.

They’re going to take our freedom and half this country is CHEERING THEM ON.

If I was a liberal Democrat in 2014, I’d be laughing and pissing in everyone’s face too. :)

Just think - no one ANYWHERE is even trying to stop them.

“A reexamination of the commission’s approach to the internet and other emerging technologies is long over due,” she said.

translation: The internet is one of the few man made things in the world that actually works efficiently and it's about time that the government got around to screwing it up horribly.

The tension is palpable. And all the polls show it - it’s just that nobody is really listeninq. This country is a pressure cooker with all of the natural pressure release valves held closed, aqainst the will of the people and the laws and Constitution of the nation.

Obama wants this thinq to blow, and everybody else is willinq to let him heat us up beyond the point of no return.

Can we regulate NPR and the Huffington site?

NPR, Huffington Post, al Jazeera and the entire MSM, with the exception of Fox, are moderate, mainstream voices of civil discourse. Fox, Rush Limbaugh, FR, etc. are extreme, partisan, borderline violent political operations that need to be regulated for the public's protection and to foster free and fair elections. Fox may be able to avoid regulation if they move their program content closer to the moderate middle.

If you were a low-information voter, wouldn't this sound reasonable?

History illustrates without any exceptions that you cannot stop this kind of tyranny by civil means, period.

It would be helpful to point to an earlier representative republic and their failed responses to the kind of problem we are talking about here.

That’s the Big Fight within the Democrat Party - which symbol to adopt - the Nazi Swastika or the Hammer and Sickle ...

The Nazi Swastika supporters are reviled by the Hammer and Sickle supporters because they have broken the Pact and are attacking them.

The Nazi Swastika supporters have large corporations supporting their efforts, while the Hammer and Sickle supporters have the ‘people’ lending support.

The Hammer and Sickle supporters feel free to call their opponents Nazis in public because everyone knows how vile and evil real Nazis were historically.

The Nazi Swastika supporters are extremely guarded about calling their opponents Commies in public because that would let the proverbial cat out of the bag.

1930s history repeating itself in political America.

It is getting to the point that resistance is inevitable. Every person would act their conscience.

The point of the first amendment was to protect political speech.

The left now wants to stop anyone from talking politics. Crazy

What absolute psycho would vote Democrat today? Can’t people wake up to the fact the Democrat party of today is NOT the Democrat party of the past? It is a radical fascist organization today whose only goal is to take away peoples freedoms so they can enrich themselves. Is freedom so secondary to their life that they would be willing to risk just to support these f_ks? 2nd amendment, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, 4th amendment, 10th amendment, all these rights are CONSTANTLY being attacked by these people. I mean just imagine: A few weeks ago a Pastors sermons were being subpoenaed in Houston for no other reason than to censor them! Is that insane or what?? Is that acceptable to people? But this is the kind of country we are headed for if people keep voting for these sick evil bastards.

This web site would be next. Aided by the true believers who refuse to vote for the likes of a Romney. It’s real and it’s not a game.

WELL STATED!

It would be helpful to point to an earlier representative republic and their failed responses to the kind of problem we are talking about here.

ALL OF THEM for identical reasons. Human nature does not change. The Founder's were well-schooled in the failures of Republics and Democracies. Most of their warnings to us, their posterity - in maintaining liberty in the most fragile government system devised by man, were rooted in the understanding of history, human nature and the bible.

Even Benjamin Franklin, not the most devout Christian among them noted: "Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become more corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters."

Good luck with recruitments. Most of America is too busy watching sports, reality shows, and texting to give a shit about the country.

Just sayin.
