I did not say that any assault by anyone on anyone was justified; I just said that if the police reports are accurate, the Palin’s should not have showed up at the party with already-drunk children.
The “children” are in their 20’s. And I’m not sure if you can accurately assess drunkeness after someone is assaulted since they are emotionally distressed. Bristol was crying and apparently Track had cracked ribs.
“Children” = Adults. None of this is Sarah or Todd’s fault.
The problem with that is those “children” are adults. They are Sarah and Todd Palin’s children but they are adults so what they do is on them.
I agree. And given the amount of alcohol consumed, accounts of the events are bound to vary. This is not a new issue. In her memoir, Bristol apparently claimed to have been drinking heavily when she first had sex with her boyfriend, and there were allegations in the media, then, that as someone under the influence, she may have been unable to consent.
