Craig Spencer, the doctor whose confirmed Ebola diagnosis sent New York City into a tailspin on Thursday, successfully cleared the U.S. government's newest 'enhanced' screening protocols when he returned from Africa.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Dr Spencer, who was in Guinea treating Ebola patients as part of a Doctors Without Borders team, passed inspection six days before showing symptoms and checking himself into Bellevue Hospital.
The CDC's acknowledgement brought angry catcalls on Twitter Thursday night, as Americans realised Ebola could reach the US despite security upgrades introduced following an earlier case of Ebola arriving from Africa.
'Well then,' read one post, 'it appears your 'advanced screening' is a load of bull***t. Another failure by CDC.'
The agency moved quickly to try to quell online concerns, but the effort met with little success.
Spencer 'didn't have fever or other symptoms of illness during screening; reported fever to health officials for 1st time today,' the CDC tweeted.
'So basically,' came a tweeted retort, 'screen[ing] process doesn't work to detect Ebola carriers ... Sheesh.'

It’s all a ruse instituted by the radical Muslim posing as our POTUS to do as much damage as possible to the country he hates. And just think: What is he holding back because of the election?
He should have kept his stupid a$$ in Africa in quarantine for 21 days at least.
It’s not rocket science. 150 years ago they had quarantines for people suspected of having infectious diseases. Anyone coming from an area with Ebola outbreaks should be held in an offshore facility for 45 days before being allowed into the country.
Just a thought, but how about THEY quarantine them at their end, (Ebola countries), for 21 days before they let them loose on the world.

There is no screening, it is all theater to make the sheep think the gov’t is doing something.
A. It’s a govt program
B. It doesn’t work
And c. It won’t ever be stopped.
The point is to create a false sense of security and warm fuzzies in the thought that the god-king is doing ‘something’ while doing nothing.

Okay, quarantine them for 21 days after the outbreak is over.
Kind of like the TSA screening 95 year old grandma’s in wheelchairs but, not even giving burka clad muslims a second look.

Unfortunately, screening only works if there are symptoms to screen for.

Way before the discovery of microbes, the Republic of Venice used to quarantine foreigners suspected of carrying disease and infected persons to be quarantined at the Lido island about 5 miles from the Venetian islands. The quarantine was for 40 days, the same numbers of days Jesus spent in the desert.
Venice was an extremely densely populated city (over 150,00 in the Middle Ages) and did suffer from plagues because of all their foreign connections. But the use of quarantine certainly mitigated the devastation from the plague. Their leaders has less knowledge, but they at least had more compassion for their people.
An ‘Ellis island’ needs to be set up for all those entering the US from Western Africa. Let’s say at Gitmo. This is on zer0’s regime another FAIL for the boy king.
There is a simple and effective method for screening for Ebola.
“Are you coming from Guinea, Liberia or Sierra Leone? Then you cannot come here.”
Of course, an administration that has opened the borders to all illegal aliens is not going to block someone coming from West Africa just because they are spreading a pandemic.
