Meet Hurricane and Jordan, the heroic security dogs who thwarted Wednesday's White House intruder.

The brave Belgian Malinois have returned to work after being treated for minor bruises following the incident, in which Dominic Adesanya, 23, hopped over the north fence and sprinted across the lawn in a bid to reach the executive mansion. President Obama was inside at the time.

But as footage shows, Adesanya had no chance when faced with Hurricane and Jordan - who swiftly reached him and stopped him in his tracks.

Even when he brutally kicked one of the dogs and punched the other, they didn't let go, preventing him from reaching the first family.

At least the canines are on the job at the White House.

Actually, I’d have them to be off somewhere in a corner doing what laying dogs do.

The only decent creatures inside the White House fence.

Not their fault that their job is to guard a criminal.

“Under the Federal Law Enforcement Animal Protection Act, anyone convicted of purposely assaulting, maiming, or killing federal law enforcement animals such as police dogs and horses could be fined at least $1,000 and spend up to 10 years in prison.”

However, because the guy has been diagnosed as clinically paranoid, they are probably going to send him on a medicated vacation to the Daisy Hill Puppy Farm for a few months.

C’mon, these dogs went above and beyond their prescribed duties. They weighed the risks of harm to themselves and yet persevered in executing the take-down.

I enjoyed reading the account yesterday, where it spoke of him kicking one of the dogs (that’s not the part I enjoyed), but that the 2nd dog “subdued” him - followed immediately by, “The suspect was transported to the hospital....” Yeah, I guess the dogs ripped him up pretty well, especially after he kicked and hit them...good on them, I hope that liked the taste.

“I hope that liked the taste.”

Should be: “I hope that THEY liked the taste.”

A white cop takes down a rampant black monster and he's hailed as a murderer.

Ferguson should give Wilson a medal.

Obama will probably have a photo op...giving them their favorite treats. Forget it....He'd be scared silly.

We’re very lenient on Fridays and folks at FR are finally learning that this happens to the best of us and that criticism is unkind and unnecessary.

The first dog was kicked and then ran away. The second was picked up, slammed to the ground and repeatedly punched. This is considered great performance?

Not by those of us in the K9 training field. If I ran that program the first dog would be out. If a perp tried that with my personal dog he’d have some serious foot/leg wounds. The second dog held on through a body slam, which is what I would expect and desire.

'He's not violent. He's not a criminal. He's not a murderer. He's just someone that's just mentally disturbed,' he (his father) said.

Same could have been said about John Hinckley until that fateful day.
