Generally speaking, when you're shot in the back at point blank range in a surprise attack, it doesn't matter how many rounds you have in your weapon.
Doesn't change your basic point, of course. Just trying to point out that loaded weapons aren't magic wands that keep bad things from happening.
Yep but his pard could have returned fire. Why is there such remorse in Canada over the basic human right of self defence, esconced in the Criminal Code of Canada? It turns Canadians into bleating sheep ready for slaughter.Trigger fingers tuirned into speed dialers for 911.
That has to change.
Yes, you are absolutely correct regarding the Corporal. However, even though Corporal Cirillo would likely still have died as a soldier murdered by an islamic assassin, his fellow Guardian of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier would have been able to END the rampage of the unholy before it began had his weapon been loaded.
That is something I do not understand: How can the Guardians protect ANYTHING if they are unarmed?
Good grief, the office of Sergeant-at-Arms is SUPPOSED to be a Ceremonial position! Thank G_d and his training and preparedness that he had a weapon available!
