Canada has experienced two murderous jihad terror attacks in the last three days, not long after the Islamic State called for such attacks – but the denial and obfuscation are as thick as ever.

Speaking of mental illness, in the wake of the Ottawa shootings, the police chiefs of Toronto and Ottawa wrote to local Muslim leaders, assuring them of their good will and urging Muslims to contact them in case of a “backlash.” These politically correct police chiefs seem to have imbibed the lesson well: after every jihad attack, Muslims are the victims, and need special reassurances. Of course, there should be no “backlash” against any innocent people and almost certainly won’t be, but this endless pandering is grotesque. Who is reassuring non-Muslims about keeping them safe from jihad attacks? Who is calling upon Muslim leaders in Canada or anywhere else to back up their condemnations of jihad terror with real action against it, including programs to teach young Muslims to reject that understanding of Islam?....

Canada Comes Face to Face with ISIS and Radical Islamic Jihadist Terror
".......The gunman, Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, is a recent convert to radical Islam. His radicalism was so apparent that he was reportedly kicked out of his own mosque. Canada, alerted to his radicalism, had placed him on a travel watch list and even revoked his passport. Reports indicate that he has been speaking with friends about his desire to travel to the Middle East and was an associate of a known (and wanted) jihadist who traveled to Syria to join ISIS. As Fox News and other have reported, “Zehaf-Bibeau was blocked from traveling by government officials who have been monitoring extremists to prevent them from joining the Islamic State.”
Then the bombshell. An ISIS-linked social media account posted a picture that “police sources confirmed” is in fact Zahaf-Bibeau masked and holding a shotgun, just minutes after he was identified as the gunman.
The fact that ISIS knew more about him than anyone in the media is a strong indication that this terrorist attack is at the very least inspired, if not directed, by ISIS.
Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper did not mince words when he addressed his country last night. He said that “for the second time this week there has been a brutal and violent attack on our soil.” He was not afraid to call that attacker what he is, a “terrorist,” and reminded his nation that another soldier had been “killed earlier this week by an ISIL-inspired terrorist.”

What is it with the ‘authorities? They must be terrified deep down at the potential violence that is present in the Muslim community and how it ‘might’ affect them personally.

I agree completely. Another thing that pishes me off royally as a Canadian is that the dead soldier was standing there with
his own rifle, but Canada’s liberal a$$hat policy of gun control in his chain of command denied him 5 or 6 rounds in his weapon to defend himself on guard duty.The result is that he was shot in the back point blank range.NO ONE is talking about that. ITS AN ISSUE !
The authorities in charge of Parliamentary Security FAILED. No one is talking about that either.The gunman walked through the doors of Parliament and there should have been a dozen guards drawing down on him, but that DID NOT HAPPEN.....MASSIVE FAIL.

Trouble with that approach is that to understand it is to teach the true values of mohammad, his life, and sayings. Then it becomes circular and self-reinforcing.
The premise that there exists such a thing as a moderate muslim or a moderate version of Islam is based on Islamic taqiyya and the liberal willingness to suspend critical thinking and belief. In short, such a program can only work in the deluded minds of liberal PC intelligentsia - of which Canada has become a North American haven.
