The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention posted tweets tonight about the nation’s latest Ebola patient, New York City Doctor Craig Spencer.
The two tweets described Spencer as having successfully passed through the CDC’s ‘enhanced screening’ for travelers from Ebola hot zones.

Obama utterly failed in his most basic responsibility, to keep America safe. He is the Chief Executive in charge. Ebola was a known threat. His policies allowed it to come to the US. Obama cannot hide behind congress, or behind some bureaucrat. Obama owns this abject failure. May his soul burn in hell.
Man, how ironic that these people love to hop on planes, go aboard ships, ride subways and take cabs, go bowling and dress shopping when feeling under the weather, all the while knowing they had exposure to Ebola.

You know? I am a superfan of the program on TV called “Blacklist”. I just love the show, and Spader is remarkable.
Back to the point. The last show was about some nut group that hated humanity and dug up some century’s old mneumonic Plague carrier and distilled the bone marrow DNA down to a planet killer virus. This virus escaped nearly everywhere (24 jihadis sent to different places via airlines, etc.).
I just had to laugh when the FBI, the CDC and everybody caught the bad guy, synthesized more of the ‘cure’ he’d also made, isolated all the airlines these suicide virus carriers were on, treated all contact victims and closed out the whole mess in LESS THAN ONE DAY.
I just have to think this episode was made prior to Dallas - before we came to know just how inept our government is.
The enhanced screenings are useless. Less than useless because they provide a false sense of security for some.
The CDC continues the lie that the change from asymptomatic and non-contagious to symptomatic and contagious is like the flip of a switch.
It is a progressive change. By the time the patient becomes aware that he is symptomatic and contagious the moment has passed and he risks everyone around him.
Enough with the self-monitoring and enhanced screenings. Quarantine is the only way to stop the spread of the disease.
Blood test...If we can do it for thousands of drunks all over the country, we can do it for these entrants.
And even better....let it be done before they leave and let them wait the stinkin' two days for the "clean" results and attach it to their passport.
Then, for all the cheaters, take a blood sample when entering the USA.
Cheap, efficient & conclusive.
