Boehner and McConnell will never ever do that, though.

They ought to know ... they wrote the book on tricky-little know maneuvers.

They’ll all be up in their trees like a bunch of howler monkeys when the shoe is on the other foot.

Bank on it.

"schadenfreude !!!"

Indeed, if the GOPe had cajones. However I expect a power sharing arrangement to show bipartisanship and trust on behalf of the likes of McConnell, McCain, and Graham. Being liked is better after all than standing on principles.(s/)

I don’t like when either side plays numbers games. Sadly, to get things back on the right track, we’re going to have to use the same tactics at least in part.

What a colossal screw up!

The GOPe will never do that however. What is needed is a more Sopranos approach with an escalation at each stage and real punishments for the Rats, but I expect the McConnell will come as close to co-management as possible, should he become majority leader.

We could only hope the Republicans would use that “little known trick.” But alas, Republican Politicians still aren’t smart enough to learn from tricks invented and used by democrats.

Wait until the Dems in the Senate want to filibuster a judicial nomination. The nation will erupt to screams of “unconstitutional power grabbing by Republicans”. Don’t expect any me ntion of Harry Reid being the architect of that Senate rule change.

We’ve got a lot of meatheads here that are perfectly fine with the republicans not gaining control of the senate.

We need a “little known trick” to offset Obama’s well known “executive order trick.”

We need another national “reset” button.

Our founders suggested this would be necessary “from time to time...”

True...but it was those tactics that got us here.

No harm using them to fix the mess.

Except Zero won’t sign a thing.

The “reset button” isn’t going to work out so well over the next two years if Obama has control of the senate.
