In an exclusive interview conducted by our friend Matt Boyle of Breitbart, Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama argued that amnesty for illegal aliens and other immigration policies favored by Obama and the Democrats will be Jeff Sessionsfinancially devastating -- especially to African-American workers.
Sessions' passion for putting the interests of working Americans first and his commitment to conservative principles demonstrates once again why he has been steadily rising in our CHQ 2016 presidential straw poll. The Alabama Senator has been a leader in the fight to expose the Democrats’ plans to legalize millions of immigrants.
Here are a few quotes from the interview:
"A nation owes its first obligation to its own citizens,” Sessions said in an emailed statement. “But our current immigration policy advantages the citizens of other countries over our own. Undeniably, one of the groups most hurt economically by unjust immigration policies are African-American citizens.”
“What amnesty is doing is setting aside a special class of individuals who are ... treated more favorably than others. In other words, they’ve already broken the law and are being given amnesty. In terms of immigration policy, it would severely affect the rights of blacks generally and all low-income Americans. What it is going to do is displace those individuals from the labor market.”
“What do Senate Democrats say to the millions of young Americans living in poverty, hoping for that first job, only to lose out to lower-paid labor brought in from overseas?” Sessions asked. “This nation has a deep responsibility to its own citizens, who are barely scraping by in this stagnant economy." He added, "We need to help our own jobseekers, our own communities, our own schools and neighborhoods. Yet the immigration bill endorsed by Senate and House Democrats would deliver a hammer blow to our struggling cities and workers.”

Lincoln and republicans were one of the best things to happen to blacks in America. Independence, hard work to get ahead, solid families.
LBJ and the democrats with their government slavery were the worst. Families ripped apart, poverty rampant, total dependence on someone handing stuff out. A proud culture gone to hell.
The problem is, they don’t care.
Many, many do.
Beyond those an enormous number have been deceived and need to be awakened.
All that matter is that the Rats get a new permanent voter base. /sarc
With the administration preparing to normalize over 30 million unskilled laborers this seems like the perfect time to do just that.
If only they had the integrity.
Senator Jeff Sessions is one of the finest men around. Our state is lucky to have a man of his integrity. He is a solid conservative. If the stinking Sodom on the Potomac had 100 senators like him, this nation would be in better shape. Sadly, we have the John McCains out there who destroy the Republic.
Its so bad here I cannot even imagine what it would feel like to have a representative - at any level of government - who spoke for me.
Many of the younger ones, however, thirsted for education and skills training because they knew it would get them ahead. A fellow fortunate enough to be able to read and write at even a 4th grade level would open a school to get others up to that level . He would then turn the school over to his best pupil and go out and seek further education.
Within a single generation, the educational skill gap between white Americans and black Americans had closed considerably.
By the time LBJ showed up, it had closed even further. Only after LBJ's programs begin to take their toll did it begin to expand again.

This is true. In the town over from me, Lakewood, NJ has been over-run with Mexicans for years. They’d congregate on street corners(’’day laborers’’) heck, the town even went so far as to provide them a ‘’resource center’’, at tax-payers expense. Not a peep from any black pastors or ‘’community activists’’. I imagine they’d been paid off. Homey just doesn’t care as long as the checks keep coming.
Can someone pass this on to the liberal elite fools at the CDC and National Institute of Health... and the IRS, FBI, EPA, Teacher's Unions, NSA... etc. etc. etc...

Our problem with Obama’s 34 million visas printed up is that Boehner, Ryan, and the Chamber of Commerce were probably turning the handle on the printing press.
We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it.
For now we KNOW what Obama intends and should beat democrats over the head with it.
That seems so obvious, so common sense.
But our ruling class wants to rule serfs. They don’t like us middle class, independent, free-thinking Americans.

You're right xzins... Liberal elites WANT second class citizens around them - to uphold their power and make them feel superior ... it's not just that liberal elites are tacky - they're tacky with motive.

They believe that Hussein is on their side because he is black (half, anyway). They believe that because Eric Holder is black, he is on their side. They believe they have to accept this invasion because it is akin to THEIR struggles in the past (almost all will still say TODAY).
They believe this wholeheartedly and support it, mostly unquestioningly. They don’t realize that Hussein and Eric don’t really give a crap to them. They are just means to an end that can only be had by 50 million new Democrat voters on their side - grateful for their new largess meal ticket.
They are in for a rude awakening when their ‘cousins,’ empowered by legality and reunion with their long lost cousins here legally become the majority and will have this government, its resources and our collective rights in their hands. Yet, they still are carping about racism and how whitey oppressin’ them.

It also needs to be passed on to the majority of the gop, many of them say they’re against amnesty but for a pathway to citizenship. The only thing we need is control and protect our borders and enforce existing immigration law and QUOTAS as was promised with the last amnesty 30 years ago and then promptly ignored. I say NO new legislation until they give us 30 years of enforcement of the old legislation.
You are so right duffee. Protect the borders... when that's working perfectly we can consider other options. As you say - maybe in 30 years or so.
