The official narrative is that Ebola is no big deal. The ONLY way to continue the narrative is to give out sketchy details as if there is nothing to report.

The only reason they are reporting it at all is because it is a hot news story that the public is willing to pay to see.

Wow. You are just a mess of misinformation. MRSA can and is cured by antibiotics, and there are several of them that work. An individual can remain colonized, but many of us are also colonized with it, and if really needed the colonization can also be eradicated with medicated showers and nasal ointment.

There is no particular treatment for “lung infection” with ebola, what ends up killing you is multi organ failure (with kidney and liver leading the way) due to clotting and bleeding in the major organs. The lungs get in on the fun too, but there is no treatment other than supportive. Hydration has nothing to do with preventing death other than supporting the patient generally to see if the body can survive the infection.

It is much easier to contract than HIV. I and all the health care workers I know have treated hundreds of patients with HIV without contracting the disease, with fairly minimal precautions. Ebola has already infected at least 2 health care workers taking elaborate precautions (far greater than we ever did with HIV).

Other than that you are right on.

Notice now hat the czar is on the case we will never see any follow up unless it is, “good news Comrades, we have another successful Ebola curing. Now go back to your NFL”

I shut down a narrative vomiter the other day when he said “More people have been married to Kim Kardashian than have died from Ebola”.
I responded “I guess the 5,000 Africans who died from Ebola aren’t people in your eyes”.

Ebola sounds strangely like Spanish Flu which killed 2% of the world’s population a hundred years ago.

Illegal aliens and foreigners get the best (and “free”) treatment while American Citizens have to scrabble to pay large deductibles and find a doctor who speaks English and has a degree from a US medical school. What a screwed-up country under Clown Prince nobola and his anti-American minions. They all should be in prison prior to being exiled for their many and continuing crimes

I just pasted the link, where the headline reads “Homeland Security says four Dulles passengers were taken to a local hospital after Ebola screenings”, into the Facebook and the title automagically changed to appear in my timeline as a much happier “U.S. Influx of travelers from Ebola-stricken nations slows”.

They’re getting their money’s worth out of that tsar.

There was one at Newark Airport as well. He was taken to a Newark hosital with “ebola-like” symptoms early this morning. Oh..... he came in from Liberia.

American Citizens have to scrabble to pay large deductibles

And that means, if and when an ordinary citizen contracts Ebola (maybe far-fetched, maybe not) how long are they going to wait until they go to an ER?

just saw something on WTOP website that Washington Hospital Center’s biohazard unit was under construction at that point and they had to turn away a potential ebola victim who was taken to INOVA Fairfax, and later tested negative for ebola.
