DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) Former Arizona Rep. Gabby Giffords charged Tuesday that "dangerous people with guns are a threat to women" as she worked to rally female voters across Iowa and inject gun control into one of the nation's marquee Senate contests.
"Women can lead the way," Giffords told domestic violence leaders gathered in Iowa's capital city during a 43-second speech that was halting and slurred at moments, but largely clear. "We can change our laws. We can change elections."

That's why I wondered how her "editorial" is so well written, but yet she can't speak clearly.
Obviously someone else wrote her "editorial".
Same as ex-congresswoman Julia Carson.
Dumb as a box of rocks when she would speak, but inexplicably eloquent in her "opinion pieces" for the Indy Star.
I wonder if there’s anything they could charge me with if I yelled “Shut up already” in her face as loud as I could.
Hmmm. 43 seconds to give a strained speech. How long did it take “her” to write each of those articles attributed to her?
No gun control law ever protected a woman from a rapist.
