PPP's newest North Carolina poll finds a steady race, with Kay Hagan leading at 46% to 43% for Thom Tillis and 5% for Sean Haugh. This is the third month in a row that Hagan has held an advantage of either 3 or 4 points. In a two candidate race Hagan still leads Tillis 47/44, indicating that Haugh's potential 'spoiler effect' on the race is waning. Haugh's supporters only say their second choice would be Tillis by a 34/30 spread now, considerably closer than the difference was earlier in the campaign.
Both candidates remain unpopular in the closing stretch of the contest, but Hagan at least fares a little bit better with voters than Tillis does. 41% of voters approve of the job she's doing to 50% who disapprove, for a -9 net approval rating. That's not good but it puts her ahead of Tillis who just 37% of voters see favorably to 49% who have a negative opinion, for a -12 net favorability rating.

PPP is about the most Liberal polling group out there.
If they have Hagan with a 3% lead, then you can expect Tillis to win.
This one remains close, as both candidates are unpopular. Republicans nominated a dud in Thom Tillis, but I still predict he’ll win a narrow victory.
I hope North Carolina enjoys her Obamacare premiums.
Its sad that it took Tillis too late in the game to get his campaign to be competent. Its sad that Sean Haugh is going to help send a bad senator back to DC.
Clintonfatigued, et al, What is your final make up of the US Senate come January 2015?
Aren’t they the ones that showed Mark Sanford down by 9% the day before the election and he ended up winning by 7%....
Right now, I’d say 55R-43D-2I, with GOP pickups in MT, SD, WV, AR, LA, AK, NC, CO, IA and NH and no RAT or I pickups. I’d love to see us pick up MI or MN, but I don’t see it right now (and MI looks like a lost cause as we speak, thanks to Land’s desultory campaign); VA, NM and NJ are longer shots, and would take some shaking up in the last two weeks for them really to come into play.
of the winnables, NC has me most worried.
my current prediction is
GOP +8,
with NC and NH as very possible
Polling I've seen elsewhere consistently sees likely voters breaking for Tillis by a single point, so the agenda-pollsters' reputations are safe when they report headlines like this one.
Every vote counts in this one, and the Hagan ground game is hard-driven by paid "volunteers" from planned parenthood and the radical greens. The most expensive senatorial campaign in the country.
My guess is that the true state of the race is 53 R - 47 D (including Is right now).
55 would be about the ceiling. NH and NC lean Democrat.
GA and KS have a slight Republican lean, but are true tossups.
IA, CO are leaning Republican. AR, AK, LA are looking a bit better. KY and SD are very likely R. MT and WV are pretty much in the bag.
MI, VA, NM and NJ are very unlikely R pickups.
That’s a tough call because I’ve been wrong before. Worst case would be 51-49 DemocRAT, best case would be 55-45 Republican.
The Democrats are running back to back ads all day long on TV stations here in NC, and many of them don’t even mention Kay Hagan; all they do is attack Thom Tillis from start to finish. They seldom say anything positive about Hagan because there’s very few good things they could possibly say about her, so all they do is put out hit pieces on Tillis.
That’s my opinion, and I’m sticking to it through November 4.
ppp predicted aikens would win plz
Akin
Tillis has handled immigration horrible, as we who opposed him figured he would. No issue is as clearly strong for our side this cycle. And Tillis won’t go there,
"Kay, my campaign gift to you...a three-week supply of digitalis--
to keep your Democrat "Heart of Gold" beating till election day."

UT OH---JDC Manufacturing, a company owned by Hagans husband, received almost $400,000 in stimulus tax dollars earmarked for energy-efficiency upgrades. The Carolina Journal reported that Hagans husband kept the stimulus money in the family by paying a company he founded with their son to make the upgrades........wheeler-dealer Chip Hagan, was also party to a lawsuit against the Piedmont Triad Regional Water Authority, which provides water to Greensboro, High Point, Randleman, Randolph County, Archdale and Jamestown. Chip Hagans group sued---predictably the water authority agreed to pay Chip Hagan and the owners of other downstream hydroelectric dams $2.35 million.
The FBI, SEC and bank regulatory agencies would be interested in this.

Under the Bank Secrecy Act, banks are required to establish, implement and maintain programs designed to detect and report suspicious activity indicative of money laundering and other financial crimes.
The Bank Secrecy Act was enacted to protect the public from harm by identifying and detecting money laundering from criminal enterprises, terrorism, tax evasion or other unlawful activities, the special agent in charge for Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation, explained.

L/E needs to examine the bank accounts of JDC Manufacturing and other Hagan-related companies.
<><> Joint bank accounts might be used to facilitate the transfer of of govt funds. Govt monies may pay for personal and private expenses, credit cards, real estate sunsidies and vehicle purchases.
<><> To cover their tracks, fake invoices might be created to show that money deposited into Hagan's accounts was being used for legitimate govt purposes.
The scheme might be advanced by issuing phony statements of payments from federal and state sources that actually covered the transfer of funds for their own use.
<><> L/E is directed to get ahold of: (1) copies of checks, (2) wire transfers, (3) account statements, (4) invoices, (5) bills, (6) delivery tickets, (7) correspondence including e-mail, contracts, loan agreements, and, (8) any other books or records. L/E should also explore (a) monies paid to brokers, sub-brokers, (b) family members, (c) mortgage brokers, (d) financial managers, and, (e) real estate agents, brokers, and developers.
<><> L/E should scrutinize JDC Manufacturing's (and other Hagan family companies) bank accounts for suspicious activites: (A) large deposits, (B) funds transferred from one account into another, (C) frequent requests for withdrawals.
<><> Bank records might also show diversions to secret LLC offshore accounts, to operate personal businesses. Govt fraud can also be facilitated by withdrawals, gift cards purchases, credit card purchases and intrabank transfers from govt accounts into personal accounts.
<><> A huge tipoff is whether bank withdrawals support luxurious lifestyle including payments for real estate, investment and stock holdings, jewelry, luxury vehicles, resort travel and gifts from luxury outlets for wives and mistresses.....and large campaign contributions.
Taxpayers should demand the Bank Secrecy Act be used to prosecute govt fraud pronto.

SOURCE: web site / occ.gov The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency processes questions and complaints concerning consumer issues within the jurisdiction of the OCC through our Consumer Assistance Group (CAG) (and sends misdirected complaints to the appropriate federal or state regulator).
OCC processes complaints involving national banks and federal savings associations with more than $10 billion in assets on behalf of the CFPB, while the CFPB builds its capacity to handle complaints. Under this approach, the CFPB will begin by handling credit card related complaints involving national banks and federal savings associations with assets of $10 billion or more and will expand its complaint process to other products and services offered as the new bureau builds that capacity through March 2012.
Consumers can contact the bureau through its Web site, consumerfinance.gov, or by phone at 855-411-2372. Consumers may use the FFIEC site to identify a financial institution's primary regulator, or may use the FDIC institution directory to identify which institutions have more than $10 billon in assets.

Ask your Congressman for a copy of the Congressional WRT the Hagan haul---the C/R must record all tax dollar grants.
Tar Heels might as well get used to their Obamacare premiums, the law is not going any where even if the GOP takes the Senate.
I’m thinking pickup of 8 at low end
Pickup of 12 if things break right .......
Way to pick ‘em, Rove.
