Lamar Alexander's new campaign ad: 'trust me' (TN/US Senate)

NASHVILLE - In a just-released TV ad, Republican U.S. Sen Lamar Alexander is again linking Democratic opponent Gordon Ball to President Barack Obama and asks voters to "trust me."

The television ad, Alexander's third, features the senator speaking directly to the camera, saying, "These are serious times, and here’s the choice. A vote for my opponent is just one more vote for Barack Obama’s agenda.

"Trust me with your vote," Alexander continues. "It could mean a new Senate majority that will stand up to terrorism, secure our borders, and make it easier to find a job. And finally, we’ll begin to fix our broken system."

If I lived in TN I would not vote for him. I would vote for some Republicans, but not for Alexander.

Does anyone believe things will change if the Republicans take over the Senate? Most of them agree with the Dems most of the time. I wish we could clone Cruz and Lee to replace those lying snakes, Alexander and Corker. Lamar is the worst, and the Dem candidate could run the same ad against Alexander. I will never vote for Alexander again.

When I vote (early) tomorrow, it will not be for LAMAR! Won't vote for the Rat candidate either. I think a Constitutional Party candidate is on the ballot and I suppose I will vote for him.

Not voting for Haslam either. I don't have major problems with him, but there is a TN Constitutional amendment on the ballot to overturn the TN Sup Ct's abortion forever decision and for technical reasons, the fewer voters that cast a ballot for governor (any candidate) the more likely that the amendment will pass.

That’s what I’m thinking too.

I’ll probably vote for the consitution candidate, over Lamar.

And am planning to skip the governor’s race to increase the chances of Amendment 1.

There are some conservatives and Republicans expecting nirvana if the Republicans take the senate. They are in for a jolting dose or reality if it happens. Nothing will happen except conservatives will be further infuriated by the Republican Parties incompetence and corruption and obama will essentially ignore Congress completely.

Good old Lefty Lamar, win the primary as a “strong on border security...” candidate and a week after the primary election, right back to amnesty immediately. This creature will tack back to the strong border security lie until the day after the general election and then will become the John McCain of Tennessee, unless Corkhole beats him to it first screaming for amnesty.

Vote for Lamar! ? Not on your life. The ONLY reason I voted for him last time was to try to keep his highness from getting a super majority. Now? I don’t think it really matters a whit. Even if Republicans get a majority nothing will change.

So, I am writing in Joe Carr. I do think Lamar will win, but I am hoping it is by the skin of his teeth, and seeing so many R votes go to someone other than him *might* scare the bejesus out of Corker. I am not holding my breath however. Maybe he will lose. I don’t care.

I also will not vote for governor. At this point I really don’t care who wins either race. I think they are all disgusting, corrupt, foolish individuals.

I wrote in Ron Ramsey for Gov..

hes the one I voted for last time..

I wrote in Joe Carr for US Senate ...

and because Joe lives in the 4th Congressional District I wrote him in in lew of Scott Desjarlais..

Desjarlais staff member in DC had told me earlier in the day that banning the flights from Africa will not stop Ebola but will make it worse..

SIGH

Sorry Charlie...
