There is a “moral bankruptcy” that’s settled into leadership of America in the White House and throughout Washington, D.C., Dr. Alveda King—the niece of Martin Luther King, Jr.—said in an interview Friday morning.

“All of our leaders—or many of our leaders—are just morally bankrupt right now,” King said when asked if President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder have helped or hurt the black community in America. “They’re not calling on God. We still stay ‘In God We Trust’ and ‘One Nation Under God’ but we’re not practicing that. We need to call on God. There’s a moral bankruptcy in this country and we really need to come back to God.”

Dr. King is part of an effort that will be announced publicly early next week by various conservative black, Hispanic and Tea Party leaders to reach out to the black community and get them engaged in an effort to help urban centers reject big government in favor of smaller, limited government ...

Forwarded to me by a conservative friend, she says "This gives me hope."

I'm not familiar with Dr. Alveda King's past work, probably should be. I'll leave it to you guys to comment.

Wow, it only took 6 years to notice what conservatives have been saying for the past 8 years.

She’s a first rate lady, probably the only one in the family that sticks to the “content on one’s character” message and isn’t a race pimp.

She was present at that big Glen Beck shindig on the national mall.

At least its being said. That in itself is a quantum leap forward in the war against the godless Muslim/Marxists.

Billy Graham recently called America “Sodom and Gomorrah.”

The is the perfect message.

If it finds receptive ears among blacks, we could see the beginning of the restoration of America.

Liberals have kept the Negro in chains since 1964; it’s time for him to throw off those chains.

Billy is right; he’s completely right and it’s like we don’t even try to have any self respect any more. As fr moral bankruptcy, I believe that if there had been any morality in the first place, Obama would never have become President.

Billy Graham recently called America “Sodom and Gomorrah.”

Well, hasn't it become just that? It's not as if more outspoken, less diplomatic and far less prominent evangelists haven't been saying that since the sixties. But, it's increasingly obvious to even those who aren't especially religious.

As a nation we've not just lost our moral compass, we've ripped it off, stomped on it and thrown it in the recycle bin. No good will come of it and a terrible price will be paid.

We continue on in the relatively prosperous, stable manner that we have due to the dwindling righteous among us. And the innocent animals, like Nineveh.

Conservatives need to work hard to encourage the “moral black community”, that their voices are desperately needed to lead black America, instead of the con-artist scoundrels and “victimization mongers” who abuse the black community today.

The path of immorality and dependency is leading most of black America off the cliff of destruction. Not some abstract, day of judgment sort of thing, but right here and now, destructive and murderous.

30,000 black infants are aborted in NYC alone, each and every year. That is nothing short of genocide, and it is caused by immorality, the lack of family values, and the loss of religious faith.

Likewise, the murder rate of Chicago can be easily expressed, the year to date:

Shot & Killed: 299
Shot & Wounded: 1820
Total Shot: 2119
Total Homicides: 357

67% of the shooters are black, and 79% of the victims are black. There is less morality there than in old Sodom.

Can most Americans show these two places on a map?

Do most Americans know how to read a map and what it is for?
