There is only one punishment for terrorism.
I’ve concluded that the people do not understand where to go to express their anger... Anger is too soft a word... Disgust, hatred, fury, loathing against this government is more appropriate. DC is too far away for most. That is the head of the snake but the snake’s body extends all across the country. Going is essential. The snake no longer hears our calls or reads our messages. There are at least 535 branches of the snake in local congressional and senatorial offices. If people start showing up in those locations in force I think the snake would feel the pinch pretty soon.
I’ve written that a friend of mine, and now a citizen, who is from Turkey asked why Americans don’t riot.
I’ve concluded that not enough have ever experienced a dry well to be concerned enough to riot. You see it in their actions. They believe that the prosperity they have had will come again. They believe that where the money they have now will continue to provide. I am not so sanguine. I have experienced enough of being without to know it can come at any time.
When does the punishment begin? Guilty or not the message is important. We need to send a message.
A battle cry is necessary... Protect Americans from Ebola... we demand it. Secure the borders against all invaders, this is a crisis, treat it like one. Politics don’t belong here.
Someone with more flair for the dramatic and concise than me needs to come up with a battle cry.
