From what I see, if I’m not mistaken, the first nurse went to the ER Friday night, and ebola was confirmed Saturday. It seems like, then, Vinson would have already left. Up until that point, it had been maintained that precautionary measures were adequate so that health care workers who took care of him were at low risk. I have seen confirmed that they were under no restrictions but self-monitoring. So how many of the other 70 or so probably self-quarantined and stopped going places like the theatre, out to dinner, the grocery store, or taking their children to activities, especially without having symptoms, although it’s indeed quite possible that some did have some but what they had turned out to be a cold or flu? Even if someone did develop some symptoms, they would likely think, before Pham’s case, that it wasn’t ebola. Perhaps Amber Vinson was less cautious than she knew she needed to be, and/or than other workers who cared for Duncan, but right now there isn’t enough known to say that.

First place, the family of this nurse states that she did not call the CDC.

The CDC is now Obamas fall guy.

This nurse is registered in Texas, based on evidence that the media is stating she is a nurse and based on the idea that she is employed by a Dallas hospital

The Texas Board of Nursing does not issue such licenses freely. She must have been endorsed not only by a school from which she graduated but also by the board itself and the NCLEX which provides verification that she has more than just a clue regarding infection control

A nurse is not allowed to run around infecting people or otherwise injuring and or infecting people or even threatening to harm people in any way, especially with infective agents

She is certainly not allowed to blame the government for this. This is probably on amass people setting up the CDC as the CDC guy/idiot wasn’t aware of this story and now either is this woman’s family

Just wait until there are media types with the contact and the quarantine and the hype. You won’t be able to get within a mile of the quarantine site because of all the media trucks

A dead nurse is just a story. A dead producer is a reality catastrophe

Some kind of personality problem in the spectrum of narcissistic personality disorder I would imagine based on the story

Another hospital staffer got onto a cruise ship. They’ve got that story going along in full fiasco mode. Good Morning America is struggling to not cover it and still remain at all relevant

It’s why we cannot take having Ebola here. Too many variables, including, and foremost human non virtue syndrome (I just made that up)

I know It’s like they’re getting compensated to go globe trotting

Makes me wonder if Ebola, about which we know very little, affects the brain first, making the victim stupid as a box of rocks

Self monitoring for suspected Ebola would include not spreading it. And we’re talking about a professional nurse. Who was entrusted by the board of nursing to care for the general public in this way

Our great leader Emperor Zero is no victim. In fact he built a new bunker at the White House just to ride out this storm. And he has a master plan for the people. The main problem with Obola is that people are becoming infected with the disease. Emperor Zero has devised a master plan to stop the new infection rate. He will make sure everyone gets infected with Obola. That will bring the new infection rate down to zero. Pure genius in its simplicity. And all you fools thought our great leader was a phony with no experience. LOL.

Obola is a liar and has never intended to uphold his oath. It means nothing to him. He is only using the office as a means to promote his American and white hating agenda. If you look to him for protection you may as well kiss your butt goodbye.

Please call congress and tell them that we must be deadly serious about containing Ebola by strict quarantine within the United States and from infected nations. This is our right and our duty and it is THEIR duty to protect US.

Capitol switchboard is 202-224-3121 or Google your congressman or senator and get his contact information and call him / her office directly. You can also call or go to their local offices.

I believe decisive response is urgent because you can’t put this Ebola genie back in the bottle once it gets out. It is a fire, it consumes all the fuel it can get and the fuel is people. The only way to stop a fire is to block it from the fuel or cool it with water. A vaccine or medicine to treat Ebola would be the water and we don’t have reliable, enough or any.

Every possible measure must be taken to stop the spread before draconian measures are imposed. What is being done now is sloppy. We are walking a dangerous road. The threat is blossoming by the day if not hour. Almost every hour there is some new Ebola development and none of them are good. This is a serious and potentially deadly event. Unchecked it could destroy or weaken the United States and facilitate our destruction by others. It has that potential for every country and that is why so many are responding with such strict quarantines. These consequences, no matter how small the probabilities, demand a full effort and significant response.

Ebola is being spread here in the United States right now. First Texas, then Ohio then? Terror is an excellent weapon. It disrupts, confuses, paralyzes and destroys a society. Many others and we on FR have speculated that terrorists may spread Ebola. How do you that remember 9/11 feel right now compared to what you felt then? Do you want to gather your loved ones near you to protect them? I do. Even more than I did on September 11, 2001! Isn’t this passive response by this administration accomplishing the very same things a terrorist would want?
When something is being done that makes as little sense as what Obama is doing there has to be some other reason. I leave it to you dear reader to draw your own conclusions as to the reasons.
What is happening now is insane. It makes no sense at all. For example the head of CDC says: “Stopping travel from Africa won’t do any good because you have to get people into Africa to fight Ebola.” “You can’t get Ebola from an infected person on a bus but an infected person should never be on a bus because he can infect others.” “Blocking travel from infected countries would damage their fragile economies.” What about ours? What about our safety? What about resources we have paid for that should be protecting us?

Even the most despotic dictatorship in Africa has acted to protect his nation by strict quarantine and stopping travel from infected countries. Even CDC, the UN and WHO advocate and credit strict quarantine for nipping the spread of Ebola in the bud at the source in places like Senegal and Nigeria where both have had faster and more successful outbreak controls than we have had here. 35 countries have stopped travel of people from infected West African countries. It is so obvious even a child could understand it so why is it OK for people from infected countries to travel here?
I will post this message and keep posting it until someone stops me.

Common symptom: DENIAL (”No, I don’t have Ebola, and therefore can’t spread it. If I go about my normal routine, it will go away”.)

I sure as hell would not want a nurse like her taking care of me - for nothing, not even a hangnail.

I hope someone sues Vinson. Her stupidity has cost people lots of money.

She is definitely an affirmative action nurse. Only handed things because she is black.

Exactly. No business carrying a license. And after what the txt board of nursing puts their nurses through to get a license, THEY should also be under investigation if they aren’t already
