The ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee took the Obama administration to task Friday for its “irresponsible” plan to allow as many as 100,000 Haitians to immigrate to the U.S. without a visa.
Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa said the administration’s Haitian Family Reunification Parole Program — which will allow thousands of Haitians awaiting a U.S. visa to enter the country and legally apply for work permits — is “an irresponsible overreach of the executive branch’s authority.”
“Which countries are next on President Obama’s list?” Mr. Grassley said. “Will there by medical screenings before entry? Will work permits be granted automatically? How will this affect American workers?”(continued)

Thousands of unskilled workers, who speak little or no English and who will immediately be on the government dole, filling our hospitals and bringing tropical diseases.... just what our economy needs. I would think that African Americans would be pissed as these new immigrants will be sopping up the benefits Blacks believe they are entitled to for voting Democrat.

The GOP is complicit, because the government is manufacturing a new, dependent base for itself, and the GOP is, in fact, part of the government.
One half of the government IS NOT our friend, nor is one half of the government on our side.

How do you get the votes necessary? Realistically I mean.
Yeah but the reason they screamed was so they could finally get a majority because that's where the real power lies.
Which is why we're ahead in the polls. The GOP nominees have been complaining plenty and now will probably take a majority which means they will control the Chairs in the Senate. If impeachment does finally happen, then it will be possible to do something about it in the Senate.
Actually, the sequester defunded a lot of stuff.
If you refuse to fund what's in the budget then the Dems will do the same for whatever they want when they get in power. Do you really want people like Pelosi to defund 50% of the military budget just because she wants to?
People are ready for leaders to retake control of the ship. They will respond in spades.

And the strategy will be to ramp it up in the last 3 weeks instead of the "peak early" syndrome which will win a few more seats than expected for the GOP.
Will they bring in the Cholera?
The Cloward–Piven strategy involves draining and overloading the system to get the destruction and chaos they want.
Grassley needs to start treason proceedings.
Maybe we can get some news from the Haitians about the Benghazi hearings since the media isn’t telling us squat.

Bring Out Your Dead

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
