So they’re saying she wasn’t on a watch list, had stated she was done with quarantine and lived at his apartment complex?
None of this makes any sense.
Why would low-risk necessitate a Jenkins Presser in 9 minutes?
Not sure exactly sure how it works but they do have some vans from the Houston Va that can pick up Vets and take them back and forth. Not sure what criteria you have to meet but it might be worth checking into there.
In a few weeks we’ll all be in the same boat.
HAAAAAAAHH!! Thanks. ..I needed that!
I’m category one, so I should qualify. The train is very nice, inexpensive and convenient and runs throughout the day.
It’s not flu season here.
He’s up for re-election?
Excellent post.
Why? Weren’t they originally told it was leftover dead armadillo?
I guess she was changing buses?
Beats me.
There is all kinds of crazy going on with this Dallas outbreak.
I will try to catch the press conference to see what’s up. They had a press conference (and a big ta-do) over the Deputy, and that turned out to be a false alarm, so who knows.
They might be giving a presser to talk about Louise and Co. being in the clear and that they will be released as scheduled- trying to pin a big pretty bow on this.
No, it does not.
Updated at 2:54 p.m.: DART spokesman Morgan Lyons sent the following email statement to The Dallas Morning News about the White Rock station closure:
The person being treated by Dallas Fire Rescue at White Rock Station is NOT on any Ebola watchlist. She is being treated by DFR as a person who is ill. Updated reports indicate she got off a northbound train at the station and vomited on the platform. There are no indications of any biohazards or spills on any vehicle she has used. We are inspecting the train and the platform and will clean the facility and vehicle as needed consistent with our protocol.
I think you should be given a 21 (or 42) day paid vacation. (sarcasm)
It’s like I said I another thread:
I feel like I’m in the 4th or 5th chapter of a Michael Crichton novel.
If I lived in Dallas, I’d move to Montana.

LOLOL!
How many did she infect? A couple dozen? A couple hundred? Thousands?
The CDC is making things up as they go along.
They aren’t sure about the length of the incubation period, or when the person is contagious.
African health authorities were criticizing the CDC earlier this week.
Nevertheless they don’t want to further inconvenience African Thomas Duncan’s family since they are unhappy with the USA for letting him die, nine days and 500 thousand dollars later.
It’s as if a hostile foreign power has seized power in Washington DC and is making as hurtful decisions for the American people, as many and as quickly as possible.
I agree with you.
Need the Gov and Lt Gov to implement everything they can, to protect the citizens of Texas.
