Republican Congressman Tom Cotton still holds a slight lead over incumbent Democrat Mark Pryor in Arkansas’ U.S. Senate race.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Arkansas Voters shows Cotton with 47% of the vote to Pryor’s 44%. Four percent (4%) like some other candidate in the race, and five percent (5%) remain undecided.

I was hoping that Tom Cotton would have put this race away by now. I still expect a victory here, but it’s proven more difficult and expensive than I had hoped. That money could have been spent elsewhere.

In a debate the other night Pryor said that he thought the middle class income in Arkansas was $200,000 a year!

Cotton is battling the family name of Pryor. Hopefully, he’ll dispatch them from elective office forever!

RCP has Cotton +4.4. Rasmussen is no longer reliable since Scott left. Other polls have Cotton up as much as +6. Rasmussen has him the lowest of all of the polls RCP tracks. My guess is that they are now a RAT pollster.

“BJ” Clinton is getting involved here and is not making it easy for us.

At one point I wondered if we could ever get Pryor booted out.
I’m just glad we have a legitimate shot this time.

Keep up the great work! Victory will be sweet! Arkansas deserves better than Pryor. My family, here in Oklahoma, are watching the race closely.

It’s sad but no Republican Senate candidate should come up short for lack of money. There are enough of us. We need more $10-100 contributors. Let the rat one per centers carry theirs.

Rasmussen is no longer reliable since Scott left.

Agreed.

Immediately after they ousted Scott, their approval numbers for barky swung wildly to the left, and have stayed there ever since. Curiously, their numbers for all other elections are not so obviously fake as they are on barky's approval. However, just the fact that they are faking barky's numbers casts doubt on any numbers they put out.

Post Scott Rassmussen, this poll leans left so I would be encouraged by the results.

What is truly sad, is very few of the Republicans we have running for the Senate deserve, or have earned our support. I work too hard for my money to waste it on losers who don’t respect the constitution, or support the rule of law. Let them milk their constituency groups: illegal aliens, and the Chamber of Commerce.

I do love how Rasmussen is now routinely a liberal outlier poll. Wonder if the DNC purchased them?
