This turd is one of Algore’s “global warming” czars. Another waste of money by the Obama regime. Forget about Ebola, get ready to get clobbered over and over with the “global warming” rubber chicken.

It’s very telling that they appointed a loyal party hack, a progressive who worked for Janet Reno, Ruth Ginsberg, etc.

Not a doctor or epidemiologist.

Unbelievable how out of touch Obama and Jarrett are.

The outcry over this appointment will be massive. Hmmm infectious disease outbreak with the potential to be a global pandemic and he appoints some political lawyer hack who tried to convince Americans the voter intent of “hanging chads” Perhaps we will now be told that the intent of Ebola is to infect all global citizens equally.

I am beginning to think that Obama wants to lose the senate so he can be impeached, become a martyr and make millions giving speeches.

FLASHBACK:

http://projects.nytimes.com/44th_president/new_team/show/ronald-klain

Carries as baggage: Some of his work since the Clinton administration may seem out of keeping with Mr. Obama’s sweeping promises about limiting the influence of lobbyists and corporate interests in the White House. After leaving the Clinton administration and working on Mr. Gore’s 2000 presidential campaign, Mr. Klain worked as a lobbyist at the law firm O’Melveny & Myers for clients including Fannie Mae, the mortgage finance giant now in government receivership, and ImClone, a drug maker under Congressional investigation for misleading federal regulators. Since 2005, Mr. Klain has been general counsel to Revolution LLC, an investment company founded by the Internet mogul Steve Case that has invested in health care companies. Although Mr. Klain’s lobbying work occurred so long ago that it would not pose a conflict with the detailed versions of Mr. Obama’s campaign pledges, Mr. Klain’s work for Revolution could require him to steer clear of related matters in the White House.

THE PURSUIT OF A DAUNTING ENERGY JOB
Washington Post - Wednesday, January 6, 1993
Author: Al Kamen ; Thomas W. Lippman ; Steven Mufson ; David S. Broder

EXCERPT

Washington lawyer Jamie S. Gorelick, a longtime FOZ (Friend of Zoe’s), has put together a legal brain trust to assist Attorney General-designate Zoe E. Baird at her confirmation hearings before the Senate Judiciary Committee, chaired by Joseph R. Biden Jr. (D-Del.).

The group includes two former Biden chief counsels, Mark Gitenstein and Ron Klain , former staff director Jeff Peck, and Duke Law School Prof. Walter Dellinger, veterans of bitter fights over judicial nominations in the late 1980s who now find themselves working for, not against, committee confirmation.

Both Ms. Gorelick and Mr. Klain have solid relationships with the White House, and are expected to take the place of Webster Hubbell, the associate attorney general and close Clinton friend who resigned in March, as a pipeline between Ms. Reno and the White House.

Why do we need an ebola czar? So when things go badly Obama can point to someone else and say, “It wasn’t me.”

not even a doctor, sounds more like political cover/stopping the spread of bad press rather than contolling the spread of an infectious disease.

What's he going to do with the current one? You know, the lady who has shuffled billions to donors instead of doing any work.

the federal government not ten years ago created and funded a brand new office in the Health and Human Services Department specifically to coordinate preparation for and response to public health threats like Ebola. The woman who heads that office, and reports directly to the HHS secretary, has been mysteriously invisible from the public handling of this threat. And she's still on the job even though three years ago she was embroiled in a huge scandal of funneling a major stream of funding to a company with ties to a Democratic donor—and away from a company that was developing a treatment now being used on Ebola patients

Dr. Nicole Lurie, Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, whose job it is to “lead the nation in preventing, responding to and recovering from the adverse health effects of public health emergencies and disasters, ranging from hurricanes to bioterrorism.”

"WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- Ron Klain, the former chief of staff to Vice Presidents Al Gore and Joe Biden, will be named Ebola czar, according to a report on CNN."

So that means that the Obama administration Ebola cluster**** will continue, unabated!

(They must think that Obama's "Ebola problem" is a PR problem, and only a matter of perception. But it's not. Ebola is real.)

I made a quick check of the morning news shows. Today’s talking points on all were that there is no reason to be overly concerned, much less panicked. Ebola is hard to catch, so they say. As far as a travel ban, one of their “experts” said that would not work, because there is a ban on illegal immigration (?) and it has not worked. I kid you not. The illogic, the guile with which the Obama administration tries to justify their non-action on a travel ban will one day be noted in our nation’s history. If God doesn’t help us, we are in dire trouble. No one in government much is standing up for us. By that, I mean going before the cameras en masse and raising hellfire.

The problem is the GOPe will go along with this because they know they will get their turn to put their hacks in those jobs the Democrats created for them. Also expect the CDC to be militarized. The GOPe types excel at that.

Sometimes I really think this ebola is more hype and fear than anything else to get people to obey the govt. when push comes to shove.
