The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
It doesn’t matter whether it was Ebola or not, it could have been.
Today, as Rush pointed out, the CDC director admitted that the reason that they do not want to close the air travel is because if these people cannot fly here, they will walk.
The CDC director said the first day of the infection in Dallas, that Obama had suspended the CDC protocols for protection from contagious disease, a year ago, because the protocols called for closed borders and health screening of all immigrants.
..and I feel fine.

it’s further south and i’m saying it is of the old strain. i’m no expert. the older version burnt itself out because it killed it’s host too quickly. this version is not doing that. it has evolved with what looks like a longer infectious period before killing the host.

Barry’s alternate solution is that anyone with a few hundred dollars can just come to the U.S. for a half-million dollars worth of medical care under his global Obamacare program.
They have to walk during the incubation period... not so easy.

Given the variability in incubation times, I don't think Mexico will go along with this as much as it has facilitated the Central American transit.

That’s just the problem, the immigration flow must stop. Mexico will be forced to close their borders if the US stops flights to West Africa,
