The World Health Organization prediction this week that the rate of infections from the spread of Ebola in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone could reach 10,000 per week by December, has the alarm bells ringing – loudly – across the world. A growing chorus of health experts are expressing concern that the Ebola virus may be able to spread through droplets suspended in the air, which would explain the exponential risk in Ebola infections and deaths to date, as well as account for the WHO’s dire prediction.
Over the summer, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued alerts stating that the virus may indeed be transmissible by being in the same room with, or within three feet of, an infected individual. A 2012 study demonstrated that the virus was able to travel between pigs and monkeys, placed in separate cages that were never in direct contact. If Ebola is in fact transmissible by air, it could become the most devastating global health threat the world has ever seen.
The CDC is misleading the public by stating that the virus is not “airborne” when it can in fact be transmitted by sneezes and coughs in tiny aerosol droplets which fly through the air and can be breathed in or otherwise received by someone who touches a surface which was coughed or sneezed upon. Canadian guidelines for physicians clearly state that airborne transmission of the virus is “strongly suspected” and medical personnel should protect themselves and act accordingly.

Liberals are against travel bans. They don’t want to offend Liberians and Gunieans and Sierre Leoneians. Liberals are more concerned about offending the sensibilities of certain foreigners than they are about the health of the rest of us.
I FIRMLY believe the reason flights to and from the Ebola countries haven't been stopped is because if they are, then next issue will be that we must secure our borders as well to prevent it from coming in. Hussein will have none of that.

Closing the borders is just following the quarantine principle. We quarantine people exposed here. Why not there?
Rumor is that the Dems and Repubs are working really hard to reach a bipartisan solution to the ebola crissis. The plan that is developing, as a result of compromise on both sides of the aisle, is for 60% to 70% of the border crossing stations to be closed from 8am to noon on Mondays, Tuedays and Thursdays. Congressional staffers are working on a bill to request $1.2 trillion dollars to put this plan into effect, which includes $1.1 trillion dollars in pork.

Africa has move with lightening spee to shut down its borders to Ebola, infectedcitizens from West Africa. The AP is reporting that these moves have saved thoughsands of lives!!! Obama, his CBC and his NAACP has done no such thing, so that he would remain in favor with his major base, African-Americans!!! He neglected his major number one priority as POTUS....protecting all the citizens of the USA!!!
And....I can assure you, many African-Americans from Ebola, uninfected countries in Sub-Sahara Africa will not be pleased with Obama’s toying with diaster for both the USA and the rest of the world. The man (Obama) should be forced to resign immediately, or be impeached as soon as possible, and every member of the Congressional Black Caucus should be soundly defeated come the mid-term elections in November, 2014!!!

How odd that the CDC would allow an infected nurse to fly commercial while 'with symptoms' (contagious). It's almost as if the CDC has orders from higher-ups to ensure Ebola SPREADS.
According to Pascaline Le Gouar, senior author of the study, Ebola disrupts gorillas in a very unique way, with entire populations quickly moving from an affected region and dissolving.
“Along with the decrease in survival and in reproduction, Ebola outbreak perturbed social dynamics in gorilla populations,” Le Gouar explained in a release.
According to the study, once gorillas became aware of an Ebola threat they began to purposely isolate themselves, no longer immigrating with neighboring populations and only rarely breeding. The result? The virus quickly runs out of hosts, disappearing from shrinking populations entirely in the course of a few months.
And while that’s good for gorillas, it leaves investigators with nothing to work with, and back at square one.
