CHICKASHA, Okla. – Lunch meat, a couple of crackers, a slice of cheese and two pieces of cauliflower qualified as lunch in Chickasha Public Schools Monday.

Chickasha lunchStudent Kaytlin Shelton took a photo of the skimpy lunch and showed it to her parents.

“It makes me want to take that and take it to the Superintendent and tell him to eat it for lunch,” the girl tells Fox 25.

“I can go pay a dollar for a Lunchable and get more food in it,” her father, Vince Holton, says.

The new lunch complies with lunch regulations championed by First Lady Michelle Obama and implemented by the USDA.

Still trying to find the collective outrage over this garbage. All I’m finding, outside FR, is crickets!

There are no doubt monetary kickbacks going on. A ‘meal’ worth optimistically about 35 cents, where the food-service supplier bills the school at four bucks per pop at taxpayer expense, and the balance going right back into the corrupt democrat/union machine.

“I can go pay a dollar for a Lunchable and get more food in it,”

No, you can't. That lunch tray has about 5 full sized slices of lunchmeat. A Lunchable has about 6 one inch and a half rounds of lunchmeat. The lunch tray has two more cracker squares than a Lunchable.

If I were a student I would bring a gun to school just to get out of eating lunch there. Food at the juvy is probably much better.

No doubt a smaller kid would as well. It will do America good for kids to starve a little thanks to Barry. I consider it a character building experience for them.

As long as they remember who made their indoctrination years so nutritious, it’s a net gain. But I do feel bad for decent kids. It is flat out criminal that this crap is allowed without tar/feathers and worse being involved.

When I took my daughter out of public school it was the best parenting decision I ever made.

The poor kid will now probably be suspended... for having a camera (or camera phone, more likely) at school.

Eva Braun means the best for all of us.

I think she's more along the lines of Elena Ceausescu.

How can the kids avoid reacting violently when they serve that? I sure as hell would. Are they totally wussified?

That fat-assed witch would have no power over schools if schools weren’t run by the government.

It’s long past time to do away with government-controlled schools. Education is far too important.

You people are stupid... don't you understand Michelle Antoinette Obama is taking on the thankless task of acclimating future generations to the diet they will be forced to to accept so that it is on par with Ethiopia and other deprived peoples of the world. That's what Obamacare is and environmentalism is.

Don't these young people realize this is what they get when they demand equality of condition?

Your equality of condition for all means substandard care, poor housing and lifestyle and inadequate unfullfiling diet and nutrition.

You asked for it, bend over because your going to get it.

A typical kid in the U.S. would burn off more calories than that at recess after lunch. Pathetic.
