I have to say I am surprised to see a Republican endorse the candidacy of a Democrat. Election time is usually the only time we can tell the difference between the two parties.
THe inside the beltway (yes that is intended as an insult to those in DC) crowd think of the senate as a private country club where THEY decide who becomes a member.
