If the death panels were up and running there would be no crisis. A simple ruling...... “Ebola” and all treatment ceases.
Now that the death panels have not been convened there is precedent against them for ever. “If you failed to convene and rule against heroic measures and unlimited spending for Ebola, how can you justify ceasing treatment for Grannie”
There will be no problem for the fedgov to operate death panels.
1) They are a big plus for the SocSec and Medicare budget shortfalls. Every year sliced off the lifespan is a huge plus.
2)If the kiddos get uneasy over grandma’s early demise, the regime will hand out Groupons for student loan remissions.
