You’d be surprised how many in Houston favor this kind of action. Wendy Davis may yet win Harris County.

Her purpose was to intimidate, she’ll still be in power when the courts reject it. In a way, it will survive the courts.

Anything short of laughing in her face would set a bad precedence.

And what if they get a sermon that they don’t “approve” of? Then what? Will they arrest the preacher? Shut down the church? Make a list of the congregants and target them for harassment? Sure, they’ll “suggest” changes first, but if their suggestions are rejected, then what?

"Pray Psalm 109:8."

Bump.

Imagine these times without God's word.

Or you all can get off your asses and get in the faces of the people that are pushing this.

God doesnt hand out good outcomes like they are Happy Meals.

The devil will usually over play his hand.......like this. This might result in serious blow back.

Already support for gay marriage is on the downswing - (novelty has worn off).

I agree. A lot of denominations and churches have already bowed to this abomination and profaned their alters and sanctuaries with the weddings and “tolerance” for this behavior. A pastor who presides over one of these ceremonies is a partaker. If a murderer came to a pastor and said, “I intend to continue to shed innocent blood for the rest of my life, but I want you to sanctify my murders and testify before The Creator and mankind that my actions are righteous and just.” it would be no different than a pastor performing a gay marriage. Both are condoning actions that are against the teaching of The Most High. They condone and bless instead of preaching repentance and forgiveness.

May He grant us strength to endure to the end as Paul did when he was imprisoned and persecuted. If your church hasn’t yet accepted this vileness, get ready to stand beside your pastor and be counted. The time is upon us.

There is a reason that Satan saved his worst and most malicious for last. It will be hard for anyone to resist caving to the beast when he can take away everything you have with his political machine.

Knowingly or not, homosexuals are instruments of darkness.

Same Sex Marriage: Stealing Rights From God
Is same-sex marriage really a “right”? If so, by what standard is it a right? Who said and by what authority?

Natural Marriage is Not Bigotry—It’s Biology
What reasons, other than religious reasons, might someone want to keep marriage defined as only the union of one man and one woman?

Anyone who opposes same-sex marriage is wrong, says the “gay mafia”—the term the liberal TV personality Bill Maher gave to homosexual activists who “whack” dissenters.

Here is an article concerning atheist China.

http://www.cbsnews.com/pictures/chinas-secret-churches/
“China, an officially atheist country, places a number of restrictions on Christians and allows legal practice of the faith only at state-approved churches.”

I cannot believe this is happening in USA let alone in a Conservative state such as Texas.
