“Yesterday, the CDC director allegedly said it was not necessary to cover hair or your shoes in treating a patient. “
He said that? OMG. That’s irresponsible. He’s an MD who did training in epidemiology/public health, and an infectious disease fellowship. None of that makes you an expert on viral transmission or biology, and certainly doesn’t qualify you as an expert on Ebola. Instead of having the CDC head giving public announcements about Ebola they should have an Ebola expert giving comments about Ebola.
According to other FR posters, yes, he did. That’s why I said allegedly since I didn’t see the show or find a transcript.
Drudge finally has the information up about the second case.
Yesterday, the CDC director allegedly said it was not necessary to cover hair or your shoes in treating a patient”
+++++
Was that the same CDC interview that Shepard Smith on Fox commented on...’Well there you have it, nothing to worry about’? (paraphrase)
Hes an MD who did training in epidemiology/public health, and an infectious disease fellowship.
