New Poll Shows Strong Opposition To Russia's Actions In Every Region Of Ukraine 18:37 (GMT)

There have been several polls which show that prior to Russia's invasion of Ukraine and annexation of Crimea there was never a strong separatist sentiment among Ukrainians in any region. Another poll by IRI confirms this result:

An excerpt from the summary:

Strong Majority in Every Region Opposes Russia’s Military Aggression Despite continued claims to the contrary from Moscow and pro-Russian separatists, 89 percent of respondents oppose Russia sending troops to protect Russian-speaking citizens.

The opposition to Russia’s actions is seen across all regions – 78 percent in the east, 89 percent in the south, 93 percent in central Ukraine and 99 percent in the west. It also transcends language. Seventy-nine percent of Russian speakers and 95 percent of Ukrainian speakers oppose the Russian actions. IRI noted that this was the first national poll in some time to include respondents from Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts (states).

According to the poll, only two percent of Ukrainians would like to see a divided country.

The poll also shows that Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has support from 59% of Ukrainians, up from 53 percent in April, and support for the outgoing parliament, recently dissolved by the President, is at only 15%.

New parliamentary elections will be held in just a few weeks.

This is important, as the Russkies, aided and abetted by our media, have consistently depicted the conflict as a civil war, with these outside forces as "rebels" rather than Communists and Russian criminals.

It’s kind of hard to know up from down regarding the information coming out of that region.

I would hope this is accurate. I have no way of knowing.

Perhaps someone else can enlighten me.

A poll in the war zone. Neat trick. No chance of the respondent considering how the wrong answer might bring a visit from Nazi Azov boys is there? Pleasing the poll taker
= survival.

Also, its a bit skewed in the question. Not wanting the nation to split apart is not the same as acceptance of the Kiev putsch. Many want Ukraine to stay intact, and also not be run by the putsch. Those two positions are not mutually exclusive.

What is with Putin? A year ago he was winning everywhere, Ukraine and Syria, now, he is missing in action. Is he keeping quiet to help his flunky, OdumBO?

Azov, that "eeevil Nazi" group played up by the Russkies, has about 300 or so members. I do not think that, in a country of 49 million (or was it 79 million?) people, that there is anybody really afraid that someone from Azov is going to come and get them.

As for war zone. The actual area still under control of the Russkies is maybe only half the size it was when the Russians made the first grab. Those areas under Ukrainian control have been returning to normal over the past couple of months, and there are no more mass graves being filled up by the Russian terrorists as they were before.

Also, its a bit skewed in the question. Not wanting the nation to split apart is not the same as acceptance of the Kiev putsch.

Putsch is a term used by the Russkies, who live in a dictatorship themselves, and other freaks who support Moscow. Yanukovych fled the country after he lost the confidence of his own cabinet, party and people, and it became clear that no one in authority was going to protect him. So, he made the choice to flee to a foreign enemy.

Poroshenko, in the meantime, was elected by a supermajority of the people in a democratic election. His only crime is being known as a moderate and being a Chocolate kingpin. From the election results. The only places that did not vote is the area in Grey, then under Russkie control:

“IRI polls”. John McCain is actually ON the board of directors. That’s where I get my information about the pulse of Ukraine. From a US Congress/UN organization where McCain is on the board of directors./

Hell, they don’t even understand middle America.
Lol

So? All the polls out of Ukraine say the same thing, including the national election, albeit that did not occur in Donetsk and Luhansk at the time. If McCain is actually controlling all the poll results from Pew and other organizations, he would have to control the election too.

A Ukraine outfit did a poll that said only 16% of the people in the occupied eastern territories wanted to become part of Russia while 26% wanted full independence and many wanted to stay in Ukraine.

Ok sparky, show us the electoral map of the last few elections. High 70 to mid 90s for the party opposing the Chocolate boy and his eastern Uke Nazi lovers. That’s quite a change. It would be akin to Texas suddenly going for Obama in a mid 70s landslide.

McCain games are afoot since his ISIS crew has spun out of control. Not buying the national socialist/McCain line from you.

Most of eastern Ukraine does indeed want to remain in Ukraine and does not want to become Russian. But they also bitterly oppose the Nazi coup that lost the last election and decided to conduct a putsch under Nazi symbols.

The previous electoral map would fall to Yanukovych, who at that time was campaigning on the Association agreement with the EU, an alleged "Nazi" position. No one was campaigning on joining Russia. Furthermore, Poroshenko is not a Nazi.

It would be akin to Texas suddenly going for Obama in a mid 70s landslide.

Poroshenko campaigned on signing the association agreement, just like Yanukovych, and also campaigned on resisting Russian aggression and ending the war. It was, therefore, a landslide.

McCain games are afoot since his ISIS crew has spun out of control.

Shut up Putinista. Your vomiting on this forum is not appreciated.

Make that his -western- Uke Nazi lovers. The east knows of the pro Nazi sympathies of the westerners. And the westerners immediately confirmed their worst fears.

Let’s see how you’re working this. Find a tenuous link to McCain, hammer it, and then claim the coincidence that your position favors Russia does not favor Russia.

You shut up,,Nazi lover.

The only Nazi actually in charge of anything over there is the 'People's Governor" Gubarov. IOW, the guy you claim represents the real interests of Ukraine that McCain, with his omnipotence, is hiding from the world. Here he is, front row, 3rd from left:

The other people sent from Russia into Ukraine are known associates of Fascist and Stalinst organizations dedicated to reestablishing the USSR, though with a National Socialist bent. Here are some more pictures of the Russkies, taking part in a Duginist training camp in 2006 in preparation for the conflict before being sent to Ukraine:

http://anton-shekhovtsov.blogspot.se/2014/08/1984-russian-and-european-fascists.html

Here is information on the Russian-European Yalta conference which featured primarily Neo-Nazis from across the world:

http://anton-shekhovtsov.blogspot.se/2014/08/1984-russian-and-european-fascists.html

They already had their Communist conference previously, and had come to the same conclusion.

Disliking McCain and Neulands Kiev monster is not support for Putin.

So maybe you are a useful idiot, just a Russian dupe, who spreads all their lies while simultaneously believing you do not actually support them. (I doubt that though.) Disliking McCain and Neulands Kiev monster is not support for Putin.

Spreading Communist-Russian lies is support for Putin, which is what you do, despite many corrections.
