Evangelical Christians far outnumber the secularists in this country. However, the peasantry well outnumbered the aristocracy in 17th Century France and 19th Century Russia. Numbers were not power, at least before the revolutions. Relatively few Russians, Poles, Czechs, etc., were Communists or sympathetic to Communism during the Cold War era. It mattered little as long as the KGB and its affiliates terrorized the captive nations.

The money and influence in this country and the other Western democracies are mostly in the hands of the other side, like it or not. This recent wave of transgender bathroom access may lose in referenda and even in defeat of liberal incumbents. The same was true of homosexual marriage initiatives a decade ago. But the Left does not give up. Keep in mind they own and control the ivory tower, which is effectively the control tower in this society. They also own the entertainment media, and have done so for many decades. Predictably, public opposition to the homosexual agenda has declined.

Until the current ruling class is overthrown or replaced, the long term prospects for America and Western civilization are dismal. Neo-paganism, nihilism, and barring technological advancements to keep them in power, the ascendancy of China, Russia, and the Muslim world.

It's not any different than any other place. The point is right on target.
When I moved back to TX from VA many laws have changed, one is the CCW laws
that set me back enough to gasp about what's happening. Texas is touted
by many here as being the Gun state but it's not. Acquiring the CCW is more
like weaving your way though the court system and in many ways was made
that way to dissuade people from getting their permit.

I applied and thought every "T" was crossed but they sent me two letters
informing me that more hoops must be jumped through. And business, oh man,
the bureaucracy is sickening in the Major cities governed by elitist
Men and Women who protect their favorite contractors.

Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, El Paso are all Blue now. But hey,
even Northern CA is red and look how much influence they have on CA politics.
Yea right. I'm not in denial, I'm in shock.

Texas is going Left and into the shitter. Yes, even more left.
