I have often wondered if Pelosi and Satan are related.

I cannot conceive of Satan's being remotely that ugly.

It’s probably not her sex life, but there were other issues in play and who knows what they were. What is her husband like? Does he care about the kids?

People get trapped in permanent situations because of temporary problems. And now everything is sexualized, so that’s what every relationship focuses on. But it’s not your fault; it’s in the air.

The big problem is that the Church doesn’t offer any guidance to anybody now so people really don’t know how to live, even if they’ve had a good example with their own parents. If you watched TV or read the press, you’d believe that about 50% of the US was homosexual and that divorce was inrvitable for everybody. The Church used to tell people otherwise - and give them a goal and some hope.

All the guidance they need is the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Most people today know how to read.

They both cared more for partying than the kids.
He worked hard and provided well. Granted, I’m sure there was more than just sex issues, but you work through those things.
My wife and I have been together for 27 years and we have been through everything imaginable, minus losing a child (Thank God!), but you work through those things, you don’t wait until your husband signs a year long contract to work in Afghanistan, then when he gets there, write him a Dear John letter saying you are a lesbian and living him with the kids! THAT IS WRONG, PERIOD!

The annulment process is very thorough in looking for things that may have kept the marriage form being sacramental, barring that I think they must reaffirm the teaching.

The annulment process is about validity, not sacramentality. Lots of valid marriages are non-sacramental. (Every marriage on earth with at least one unbaptized spouse.)

People don’t know what the Church teaches, and if they do know, they ignore it.

But EVERYONE agrees that the Church is oppressing everybody.
