I’m thinking at most a 55 gallon drum would have been sufficient.

If the CDC is corrrect and the virus can't survive outside of a host for more than 23 days, I would think that locking the door and putting yellow tape across it for a few weeks would suffice.

Then again, since the CDC hasn't been right about much of anything, maybe they should have incinerated the entire neighborhood.
