I did write in post 58 right under yours, some theories they have come up with involving intubation and dialysis.

Just because you wear protective gear does not mean that you know how to properly use it.
Protective gear needs two people to be put on properly.

“Right, this nurse followed CDC procedures and it happened anyway. Airborne maybe?”

Not necessarily its just really difficult to be 100% with theses things, which is why you have to take every precaution you can.

If Obama had half a brain he would be doing what many country’s are doing and legally prohibiting unnecessary travel to West African country’s. No it won’t stop the spread, but it will slow it down and buy us more time to find a more effective cure.

The bottome line is this man should never have been allowed to just fly back into the us

There is absolutely nothing to worry about!

According to the article there was a breach in protocols.

Thanks for posting this. If it was spread by dogs you would have seen massive outbreaks in Africa long before this.

Wearing and then *removing* protective gear actually requires training, and practice. Insufficient practice would not be surprising amidst the delayed preparedness caused by wishful thinking.

Very true.

“The woman had on a gown, gloves, mask and a shield during her multiple visits with Thomas Eric Duncan, but there was a breach in protocol, health officials said.”

That’s not much of a protective outfit. Normal stuff, plus a face shield.

I’m sure they put lots of thought into it. Like with ISIS, they wished really hard until the interview was over...then went on to other subjects since that problem was solved.

By all means, lets blame the nurse since CDC can’t be wrong!

So much for the lies being told that you’d need Ebola to get into the bloodstream to infect. Now it is just skin to skin contact and not in an open wound to catch Ebola?

We don’t know exactly how she got it, but we do know who she got it from and had he stayed in Liberia, this nurse would not have ebola. Pretty simple.

Bingo! But you can't reason with Obama or the CDC with facts like this.

You think Obama will ever visit these troops?

I think perhaps a better question is, how many of these troops will live to see their rotation end?
