My thoughts--this test may have been one of many that Presbyterian has given since Duncan made the appearance--just doing a screening of the personnel. The test may be a false positive, or it may indicate that the test is accurate earlier than is previously known.

There's still a while before the "family" becomes symptomatic.

As far as I know screening tests are worthless, one has to be ill for the test to be positive, and even then the initial test may be negative. The story states the individual is symptomatic with fever.

According to the article, the test was performed after the employee became symptomatic.

The health care worker reported a low-grade fever Friday night and was isolated, the health department said. The preliminary test result came in late Saturday.

This may not have been in the initial story, though.
