As ISIS continues to advance on the Syrian town of Kobani and close in on Turkey’s border, experts in Islamic radical movements think the terror group may merge with its al-Qaeda mother organization soon. Together, the group would represent the greatest terror threat to the civilized world.
“I think Britain, Germany and France will witness significant attacks in their territories by the Islamic State. Al-Baghdadi [the leader of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, otherwise known as ISIS] may reconcile with al-Zawhiri [the leader of the al-Qaeda central organization] to fight the crusader enemy. The attacks by the United States and her allies will unite the two groups,” said Hisham al-Hashimi, an Iraqi researcher who just finished writing a book about ISIS based on his unique access to the organization’s documents and years of research and advising Iraqi security forces. al-Zawahiri
“I have been monitoring al-Qaeda’s leaders’ rhetoric towards Baghdadi. They are getting softer and softer….The Islamic State, regardless of how big or small it becomes, will come back to its mother: al-Qaeda,” he added.
The break between the Islamic State and al-Qaeda ISIS and al-Qaeda have a long, tangled history with one another. ISIS was the al-Qaeda official branch in Iraq until last February. However, they finally split after disagreements over operations in Syria.

The world has really sunk since 70-80 years ago. Remember when the British fought global wars? Sunk massive battleships, and were allies instead of asking America to do the fighting? If people wait too long. Europe will be sacked, an we will have to mutually agree with the Russians to nuke the site from orbit.
Cripple, or cause it, the “Civilized World,” to finally get serious about taking out the threat. These bastages have no access to modern war machinery if the West doesn’t sell it or give it to them.
Let them start showing up with the weapons they can make on their own.

Added to the caustic mix of a combined extremist group represented by ISIS and al-Qaeda is the surreptitious sympathy, support by the US president as catalyst for their growth, expansion and ever increasing threat to the civilized world. The worst man at the worst time.
The only question is: do we have the political will to apply enough force to liquidate them? We have the force. We know how to apply it. We have the means to apply it. All we are lacking is the desire.
If this is to be a world war the first step is to get the world on our side. Start with Russia, a large nuclear power who resides far closer to the problem region than any western nation. Islam is a natural enemy of Christian Russia. A little bit of horse trading with their latest strongman and you can bring them onside against the threat. China might be a tougher nut to crack but it shouldn't take too much to bring them on board. They are more dependent on mid east oil than the US is.
The US can beat this foe alone. The US, allied with the rest of the western world and Russia is unstoppable.
Unfortunately, President Obola has neither the wit nor the inclination to pursue this course. The best we can hope for is that islam is kept at bay for the next two years and America elects some adults in 2016.

I think this Ebola thing may be the in we’ve been looking for, because the few libs I’ve spoken to it scares the hell out of them - they are starting to realize “Hey you know what: Maybe having a radical Muslim as President isn’t such a great idea after all if I want to live”. I think Republicans will take the Senate, but man if they do, we have to get on their ass every single day until they impeach this punk. Amen. I’m sick of talking about ISIS. I want them exterminated now, while they’re reaching critical mass and drawing in all their fellow travelers.
Buy off those who are harboring them or know their whereabouts. Make sure the locals understand PMCs can pop right back in at the sign of trouble within minutes instead of waiting months for some defense appropriation or UN deal.

I believe that Obama is already wide awake.....he’s just not on our side.
