When I was in USMC Boot Camp in 1966, and a “Smoking Formation” was called, the non-smokers (maybe a third of the platoon) were punished by having to run to the barracks, grab their toothbrushes and ‘Non-smokers: Brush your fangs!’

I think the non smokers secretly hated us.
